Congrats to England but this tournament was clearly hosted in England and not “Europe” England played 90% of there games at home in wembley. That’s insane.

They should of just named England the host.

Think this might be the year for England, If not now then idk when. Best chance they will have I reckon.

Think it will be a rather close final probably decided by 1 goal.
For England it was in England. But Italy had the same advantage in the early stages.
Obviously, the teams that were in semis were the sames that traveled the less.
At least, when there is one host there is usually not as many travels for all the teams.

Deserved but a big feck off still to decide that game with a dive. Annoying. Game too far for Denmark, they look knackered since half time

Well done England, great play in second half of extra time, and well deserved overall.

Huge disparity in quality between the teams after the substitutes. Pen was a dive, surely England would have won anyway.

It'll be a good final.

Not undeserved, Denmark just did too little to win the game. Italy-England is one awesome final.

He got away with that Grealish sub big time. Went from being all over Denmark and in control of the first half of extra time to ceding possession and looking so shaky.

@GifLord - any chance you can get a clip of Matterface’s commentary for those of us who aren’t hearing it live? All I’m seeing are posts about how bad it is and I wanna see the train wreck too

Incredible effort from the Danes this tournament considering they lost their first two games. Shame it ended under these circumstances but they should be immensely proud.

England were better. No doubt that but it means feck all if you don't score. Fact is that they have cheated their way to victory.

Final would be fun.. Italy and England both diving around and time wasting.. can't say I am looking forward to that

Would be interesting to hear "English fans" moaning when Italy do to them what their team did to Denmark

Lions on the shirt. Not much resembling lions with that goal. Otherwise, deserved.

Does Kane’s extra time goal count towards golden boot?

Deserved to win, but the decision for the penalty for the winner was a disgrace. VAR is the real joke here again tonight.

It was a deserved win but the pen decision was obviously wrong. It revolts me because as a Sporting fan we have an historial of always being in the wrong end of these decisions.

I will root for Italy the first time in my lifetime.

I don't think it was a penalty, admittedly, but I don't think Strling dived either. He just went down very easily. He isn;t the first guy to do it and he certianly won;t be the last.
Agree, not the first and not the last. Sterling dives (or falls) even if it is windy outside.

But how you can watch it (VAR) and say that it is penalty is beyond my understanding. They really have hard to overturn decisions in fear that it would look "bad" for their friends. Seems that it isn't just England referees that are bad that we see every week in Premier League. There are lot more out there.
