Gil - €25.00m
Romero - €50.00m
Martinez - €70.00m

€145.00m

Tottenham did spend €110.50m last summer to be fair. This would mean Tottenham will have outspent us this Summer right?
Think Romero is a loan with option to buy so wouldn't really count him in this years deals.

I believe it will need to be minimum £100m to convince inter to sell Lautaro. I doubt Levy will do it. Could Martial be their alternative or may be using City’s Jesus as part of the Kane’s deal? Not many strikers available out there.

So they had agreed a deal earlier this week only for Chelsea to step in and wrap up the Lukaku deal in no time. Now Inter don't have to sell Martinez.

Not sure we'd sell Martial to Spurs without a considerable tax on top of what we'd consider from a foreign club.

I also don't think either he or Jesus would leave their current clubs for Spurs.

Looks like Inter will keep Martinez, but if Spurs are bidding £70m for strikers, that's surely a clear sign that they are no longer planning for Kane to be at the club next season.

Chelsea filling their one hole in the team and messing with Spurs at the same time. Double win for them.

They placed €70.00m bid on Lautaro. Would you take it if they bid €60.00m on Martial? I would.

Ehm he’s Madrid bound mate

In FFP rules violations :D
Who he would play with or against in Madrid?
Madrid can not buy great players for at least 2,3 years. Barcelona is finished for good 4,5 years.
Why would he waste his time there.

Chelsea screwing over Spurs and Arsenal by signing Lukaku and ensuring neither have a shot at Martinez. Fair play to the cnuts.

They can, really. Lots of sources saying so.

He want to go for same reason Neymar went to PSG , he wants to be the main man/big star. And in PSG Neymar overshadows him.

Real Madrid is still a big name for players

Lautaro fee agreed between spurs and inter.

Probably means Kane is off to City, though not necessarily the like for like replacement that they need.

EDIT - Also makes me wonder whether the rumours of them being in for Martial is true. Though personally I'd try and keep him for one more year and then only flip him if we get the all important striker next season, whoever it may be.
Agree, looks like they're trying to get their shopping done before selling Kane to avoid being held to ransom, just like Villa.

There's not many like for like replacements for Kane, and none of them are available to Spurs. They should be happy if they can land someone as good as Martinez. The player doesn't sound like he wants to go though.

Great move for Tuanzebe will do really well there..,
It's a poor move, the club have handled his development poorly last season and now this season. He's going to be back up to Mings and Konsa. He needs to be starting games, not warming the bench for Villa, we have just loaned him to whoever would pay the loan fee and not who'd give him enough game time.

That’s not true at all Tuanzebe was already at Villa before and played a major part in their promotion, Villa would be over the moon to get him back again.

And since then Mings and Konsa have formed a solid PL partnership, while Tuanzebe has barely played. He's going there as back up, that was what was said in the recent The Athletic article, Villa want him as CB & RB back up.

If he's more or less a regular, it's a great loan. But I have to say it seems a bit implausible to me that he'll displace Konsa. There's Hause too, who didn't play much last season, but injuries had something to do with that. He does have on-the-ball skills that Villa's CBs generally seem to lack, maybe that'll favour him.

Where the grass is greener.
He needs to be playing every week, in theory its a good move as Villa are a good team, but its a pointless move if he doesn't start more often than not, and he won't.

Some more details on PSG's potential Messi deal via The Athletic:

The Athletic seem to reporting a lesser amount than other sources. They could be excluding the bonus payments to Messi that others are including.

  • Inter also want Zapata alongside Dzeko.
  • Atalanta face competition from Arsenal for Abraham.
  • Eintracht Frankfurt are also in the race for Sassuolo's Gianluca Scamacca.
  • Atletico Madrid, Arsenal, and Tottenham are all in for Lautaro Martinez.
    • Highest offer: 70 million Euros, which is 20 million less than what Inter want
    • Despite contract extension talks being stalled, Inter still want to keep Lautaro.
The 70-million-Euro offer reference is in line with Gary Jacob's article about Tottenham's 60-million-Pound offer. However, Di Marzio doesn't state that Inter have agreed on that deal, so let's see how this develops.
