Could be that Milan are just bluffing and hoping we relent in our negotiation stance.

Supposedly we want €5m in loan fee and an option/obligation for €15m. That seems pretty fair to me. If they want him so bad, pay up!

Must mean Trippier is off ?
Id imagine so. Atletico wont leave Tripper go for cheap and we seemingly dont have the funds/wont pay above our valuation/view midfield as the bigger priority.

Shame I think Trippier would have been a great signing. Dalot Im still not sure on. AWB Im really not sure on.

Why would Maddison take a step down to Arsenal?
Probably quite simple really: I’d imagine they’ll pay him more + they are historically a massive club. Maddison also looks like a player who would love the London lifestyle. He could also be the ‘main man’ there, when you think about it. His main competition in the no.10 spot would be Smith-Rowe.

Generally speaking though, it’s just the way the game works. Players will constantly leave smaller clubs (no disrespect to Leicester) who are really well run and in a really good period of their history to join bigger clubs who may be in a bit of a downward trajectory.

Yeah - without comparison directly, Pogba joined us at a time where we were far behind Juve in most regards.. and Juve isnt really a small club even!

IIRC, Madison has a bit of an attitude problem or at least that's what his manager seems to think and that's why he benched him last season in a crucial phase at the end when they could have got CL.

Lingard, if it's made perfectly clear to him he's got not place in our squad, as is obvious, would slot perfectly in Leicester's system - can press, run and work hard, while providing quality.

I think it makes perfect sense and hopefully we don't bottle it.

Given that Maddison has been in the hot seat from both his manager and Southgate for his partying, London may not be the best place for him. Chilwell needs to slow his roll too.

That would be an amazing move for Jesse. Actually hope it happens for his sake more than anything. Couldn't think of a better club for him
West Ham is the better club for him. He lived near my step son, a stones throw away from the ground and within walking distance of central London

Eh? What exactly would we be bottling?
