Looks to me as if he'll be getting his shot at redemption at the start of this season, hope he grabs it with 2 hands.

He is going to get the first 3/4 games to play maybe as the ST. It all depends on who will be used as a ST, Martial or Greenwood.

with Rashy's injury, he will get alot more chances. I really he takes his chance, it will give us something to fight for this season,

So disillusioned with the fact that him and Pogba are still at the club.

The standards of the club are just disgraceful. You see it with the likes of Mata where just being a good guy is enough to be kept around but Pogba and Martial barely even put in the effort.

Should have been shipped out years ago. Imagine the effect it has on a younger players seeing this guy jogging around collecting 200k a week without any accountability for his very often awful form. We have fallen a long way since Roy Keane was setting the standards in training and pushing everyone to that level.

It’s a new season. Pretend to be excited and support the man. He is key to us winning the league.

I've been supporting him for the last 6 years. It's just so predictable now. :)

how i feel about him is how he takes to the pitch

cant be arsed.

Considering he'll most likely be starting against Leeds, how did he look against Everton? Hope he grabs the chance next week, be an important player to rotate with Cavani this year.

Now that Rashford and Cavani are not available for the first couple of games Martial is needed to start scoring goals.
I think Ole made the correct decision in not selling him.

""With the season I had last year, and the niggling injuries I had which prevented me from being at 100 per cent, I've since put in my best prep work, so as to be sure of coming back in the best form I can," he added. "And I hope I can get to my full fitness level as quickly as possible now, to set me up for a great season this time round."

At least Martial ain't dodging the pressure. He knows this season is his last big chance to prove he can be counted on.

I think some people have forgotten just what a good footballer this guy can be. He was shite last season but it’s disingenuous to suggest that this is/was the norm.

He’s going to have the likes of Sancho, Cavani, Pogba, Bruno and Greenwood to bounce off: a huge season for him and one that is probably make or break.

He's saying all the right things, let's hope he can back it up this season, I think he will.

No reason to criticise him for that short cameo, but I seriously want to see difference in distance covered for him and Sancho. I bet he didn't break a sweat

With rashford left and Sancho right, I expect a lot of chances to be created and for martial to be at the end of a lot of those

decent cameo, that back-to-goal holding the ball/dribbling is why i rated him as a lone striker. but to banish last season he needs to score.

You kind of forget it since he's been out for so long, but his hold up play and close control will be huge for us if hes fired up this season. I think he will be.

And then, he passes it to opponent player.

I like him. Don't get me wrong. I really doubt he will get his 2019-20 form again.

Actually really happy to have him back! There is a different feel to him, feels more motivated and driven, looked really happy too. Could be the difference maker for us this season.

Don’t see how he’s gonna get the games this season, Greenwood looks like he’s really stepped up and Cavani is first choice when he’s back.

He has a lot of short comings especially his appreciation of space but his hold up play is one of the best in the league. He is so strong with his back to goal.

I am glad that he was able to ward off center back challenges and hold the ball up, made a couple of nice turns and laid the ball off. Last season, anyone and everyone was nicking the ball from him.

No reason to criticise, but you do anyway  pretty normal for a centre forward to cover less ground than a winger.

Manchester Utd never lose, just run out of time

It can be, but (like a lot of his game) it's quite inconsistent. He has games where he dominates defenders and they can't get the ball off of him, but he also has games where he can't win a thing and defenders win it ahead of him constantly. Hopefully we start seeing more of the former again because that Martial will be very important for us.

He needed the minutes, and it was a perfect position for him to come on at. Cruising to victory and manages to get a cameo. Perfection conditions.

According to who? Ole will play him first choice if he plays well. It’s all up to him.

I used to be a big fan of his ability to play deep and his back to goal -

However after seeing Greenwood's ability to make some good accurate passes today as as ST then that need for Martial has gotten even lower.

Will support him whilst he is here and hope he can turn his United career around.

Another player used to be rated for back-to-goal holding was Emile Heskey

I don't, I was just laughing how languid he looked in comparission with Sancho.

His Lex Luthor dome is an interesting choice, he looks like he's still getting the rust off from his injury lay off.
