Whilst I agree that im also very conscious about Bundesliga players - I think Haaland was good at his other club/league before Dortmund and then is absolutely killing it in the CL and the national team too.
I like Haaland don't get me wrong. Out of all the Bundesliga prospects from that crop (Havertz, Sancho, Werner, Bailey etc) I put him top by some distance, one of my dream signings Naehus is from Bundesliga. That still don't negate the fact Haaland is still a risk.
People are comparing him to RONALDO just think about that for one second. Do you know how insane that is.
Greenwood has hit double digits in the first team since he broke into it as a teenager. That is no small feat. Sebastian Haller was signed for BIG money (from the Bundesliga) and couldn't achieve that. He's now in the dutch league looking potent again. He came to the Prem for big money from Bundesliga he couldn't do it here.
So yes you can look at stats XG and all that other crap but it excludes huge bits of context.
One big bit of context people are missing is he was great for his old club like you said, and a big plus sign was the manager who initially got him was Ole. And whethere your Ole in or Out we can't guarantee his future at thos club.
Personally for me it's a non starter I doubt he's coming here he looks a Madrid player to me (their project is frightening).
But the denegration of Ronaldo and Greenwood is what probably triggered my post it's just so weird, shortsighted and tinkering the lines of baseless understanding of the game.
