Conte is about as guaranteed a success as you can get from a manager and we let him go to fecking Spurs so that we could give Ole a few more matches to get humiliated further. Sigh.

I would've much rather had Conte at United than Rangnick. Why the feck did we allow him to go to Spurs unopposed?
Because he is too much a winner and doesn’t take sh*t from incompetent boards…
Our board was right, he can’t work with them, they are incompetent.

It’s genuinely crazy it was allowed to go this far with us under Ole, reckon we’ll miss out on top 4.
My thoughts exactly, how did we let that shit show run for so long? We put ourselves in this shitty situation, if we don't get Champions League football next year we will certainly lose Cristiano and won't be able to attract any top talent.

Zaha is having one of the worst games I’ve ever seen.
confirmed it now. He was absolutely shite today, looked like he was pissed off that he was asked to play and just wanted to leave as soon as possible.

Top four is looking very competitive. Are any of you worried about that? Spurs and Arsenal don’t have European football in the second half of the season and both look very good currently.
Couldn't split the 3. We're in trouble for it.

Leicester not even getting close enough to city to foul them. No fight in them whatsoever. Genuinely good chance they are all hungover imo

There’s still no excuse. We were in the top 4 after our last game and are fixtures are all winnable until March.
We’re seriously under coached team in the midst of the hectic period with a lot of fixtures and covid to deal with and with a very unbalanced squad, unless we bring in top quality midfielder in January it’s a long shot . Many people on this board don’t realize that we’re up against a seriously world class manager in Conte, and we now have to make up many points on Arsenal who seems to found some form with their young players up front.

We will get top 4 calm down! 3 weeks ago I was told West Ham were favourites for CL

I don’t buy the timing. It’s just because Conte could have exposed them. They don’t want someone who will expose them for the incompetent and spineless corporate bunch they are.

Problem for Spurs and us is when we'll play the rescheduled matches. Usually you'd say games-in-hand are an advantage but with coronavirus, it's probably better to have points on board.

Not sure Arsenal are the real deal yet, they have improved but you'd think so playing only once a week. They've got City, Chelsea and Liverpool coming up which will be interesting.

We absolutely need to win tomorrow, Spurs and Arsenal don't have European football for the second half of the season and they're looking solid.

Can't afford to lose any more points, what's worries me is that against Norwich we performed really poorly. Like Ole's poor.

I do wonder if Tielemans will ever actually be as good as some people on here pretend he is
He's a good player but I think he's coasting at Liecester right now, almost as if he's playing within himself. He's stagnating.

It's a strange club overall, they can play some really attractive football but you feel they lack that extra spark and aggression when its needed

Arteta should go back to his Tavares experiment. Since he reluctantly recalled Tierney he has either scored or assisted in most games.

Yeah right, a man who never won a thing is the right one.
We were pressing beasts with a clear philosophy against Norwich…I don’t even know how we won that game.

And argue please next time or don’t tag me.

Thanks.
Conte lost vs some team from Slovenia or Slovakia no one has ever heard about

I struggle to see why you’re so confident. If anything Spurs and Arsenal are playing better at the moment.

Really worrying results for us today.

8 points off top 4.
Serves us right persisting with Ole for so long and ignoring better candidates as his replacement. I don't know where this confidence that we will definitely be more successful under Rangnick comes from. Spurs and Arsenal don't seem to be going away.

There there sweetheart.
Go crywank over the spurs game, everything will be just fine.
Maybe Conte will send you one of his wigs to soak up the mess.

I don’t think he’s coasting, I think it’s just his level. He’ll score a cracker every so often to fuel the talk about him being one of the better midfielders in the league then go missing for games at a time. He’s one of a bunch of players that get overrated simply because they play for Leicester. Soyuncu is another.

We were never getting him. He’d definitely have fallen out with the board and they knew it. He has extremely high standards and they do not.

No way Conte took the Spurs job if he hadn’t been told United weren’t interested.

It says a lot about the club that we weren’t interested. Nothing against Ralf but I do think Conte is on another level.

switched over to City-Leicester from the Spurs game, and the difference in atmosphere is something else. you'd think City were the ones losing 4-0.

Our board never wanted Conte so no point thinking about 'what if' when it comes to Conte. Conte is not Mourinho, he's still top but he probably has some similarities with Jose that scare our board.

Because we have already picked up since Ole left. Oh Spurs and Arsenal playing well? Only 2 points off Spurs after today and ahead of Arsenal if we win our games in hand. That’s after our horrendous start. Last time we played we had beaten Arsenal and the they crumbled to Everton while we beat Norwich. Of course they’re playing better since we haven’t played in about 17 years!
Any sort of run at all should see us through. It’s Chelsea who are a result or 2 away from worrying imo

We don't deserve it anyway, I don't care if Solskjaer wasn't good enough, the players who decided to down tools yet again simply aren't cut out for Champions League football.
