I hate this group of players. Can't wait until half of them are binned.

Fair play to Jones though, pleased for him.

Bruno should have come on for Cavani but looked like RR has promised him minutes.Never should have taken Greenwood off our best player by far.Fred should have started for Scotty.Don't worry lads this season has already gone,Ralf's just finding out who he can rely on.

Don't really see Ronaldo fitting into this system, he was extremely static today. Can't fully blame him either as the service he got was abysmal. Horrible performance overall from the team.

Very poor. You always hope the next game is when things will finally happen. It’s such a slog watching us the majority of the time. Zero belief from anyone associated with the club as the year begins. Gutting.

Passing forward was awful again. Only way to find your teammate seems to be a pass back or sideways. Rangnick should dump this 4-2-2-2 now, players obviously aren't up to it.

100% true especially if you ignore this season where it looked like he lost the dressing room. Last season I always felt we had a chance in the second half, now I'm just hoping we make it to the final whistle without conceding a dumb goal.

Christ alive ..what the hell is wrong with us these days ?!! I’m sick to death of watching this tumescent rubbish…why can’t professional players on 200k per week pass the ball to another player in the same shirt ?!

- what do we play? What is the tactic! I really don’t know. Very random
- terrible performance, were again dominated by a “smaller team”. Not sure how big we are at the moment.
- couldn’t impose our tempo at old trafford…again
- wan bissaka doesn’t know how to cross. Why isn’t dalot starting? He played well recently.
- mctominay back to being mctominay. Offerred nothing.
- bruno can be wasteful at times, but he is the only brains in this team. He creates the most chances, don’t drop him. Our midfield was empty (lots of spaces) until he came on.
- terrible substitutions. Why take off greenwood? He was our best attacking player (out of a terrible bunch). Why bring on an unexperienced elanga? Lingard should’ve come on.
- welcome back phil, not a bad game

Strange you gave Scott McTominay such a high score. He was atrocious. Rarely demanded the ball from his centre halves, careless when he gets it and generally was second best to most loose balls. The fact that he's a starting midfielder for us is proof of how shit the squad is.
How is 5 a high score?
In the setup with zero help in midfield and a slow Matić who doesn't go forward, its all they could do.

I've accepted that we won't be in control of games until we get a decent midfield, but Rangnick has to take some of the blame here. Subbing off Mason was obviously the wrong decision unless he was injured (he didn't look it). Playing Bruno isolated on the wing was another. Play him with one of Cavani and Ronaldo. He was already playing as a SS in Ole's 4-2-3-1, why not trust him to do it now? And Rashford was horrendous as a sub too, but that one's on him.

By now Rangnick should have seen enough to know the fitness levels of our players and see who can play week in week out and who needs to be managed. One of Ole's biggest problems was him not using the squad players, Rangnick's falling into the same trappings. If he really has any authority he will drop one of Ronaldo and Cavani next game and demand a CM in the window. We are falling further behind and I don't want to imagine next season without CL.

Why did he take off Greenwood man, why? The fans in the stadium groaned.
Every single substitution he makes is wrong. Add that to the fact that his line ups are unbalanced as feck and you get this shower of shit.

I left the house after twenty minutes to walk around the town with my daughter who had lost her new phone. When we couldn't find it, because she shrugged whenever I asked if she could retrace her steps, we tried to access Find My iPhone - only for it to turn out she had changed the password I had set up for her to something she couldn't remember, and changed the trusted back up number from my number to the same one on the phone she just fecking lost. So no idea where the phone is and can't remotely locate it. All of this was met with teenage shrugs.

THAT was somehow less frustrating than coming back to find out that we had once again played like absolute shite. We've probably still got more chance of finding the fecking phone than our team have finding the back of the net.

Remember when we used to be so relevant in our league. We can still sell papers and views but we offer so very little on the pitch. We are slowly becoming Man City before their money. Needs massive changes at this club again from top to bottom otherwise we’ll go years and years without winning the league. Quite sad but a gift that keeps on giving to our rivals…9 years and counting.

It’s bad but we just need to fix the midfield. Easier said than done but CM overhaul should be main effort. The rest will soon come back to form when they have confidence in the midfield.

Just amazed. How can a team be that bad. The amount of times we make ‘lesser’ opposition look formidable is unacceptable.

The amount of experience/internationals in that team serving up such garbage is damning for them. Have some pride. They just don’t look at all interested.

…and the inability to make a 10 yard pass boggles my mind. These are supposed to be elite footballers paid huge sums and they struggle doing things, literally a 13/14 yr old could do.

Will any of our staff give an interview? I’ve normally fecked off by now but I’m interested to see what anyone can say about that.

Problem is all the front 3 are super fecking greedy and don’t play like a team. They only pass it because there’s really no choice. Sancho decides not to OBVIOUSLY pass it to Ronaldo when he was clearly wide open. Same scenario happened about 4 times that game. If this was Liverpool, they’ll pass it to each other every fecking time! Because they are a TEAM and they want to win it. Ronaldo needs to score goals, Cavani needs to score goals, greenwood and Rashford need to score goals. And neither of them want to pass it to each other unless they have too. It’s a fecking joke. You can blame the manager all you want. But how the feck can it be HIs fault when they are a bunch of greedy cnuts.

Why even have VDB and Lingard on the bench if you'll never use them, put some youth players on there if that's how it is.

I don't know how Rangnick can watch that game and think what I need to do is throw on more attackers instead of trying to gain any semblance of control in the midfield.

We Can blame the manager all we want. I've done it enough over the last few years but not one of the managers we have had has managed to get us pressing and playing free flowing football.

I dont even know what the answer is. Absolute shower of. They can't pass to each other. They lack energy. Scared to make that risky pass and just go sideways or backwards.

Awful team right now. Sick of the same boring football whoever is the manager. I personally keep hoping for something to change. These lot do not look like they care at all. De gea aside.

Pathetic performance again. Squad full of dossers. They will all go running in the summer having failed to qualify for the Champions League.

I want to see a manager with the balls to drop Ronaldo. His form has gone and he has been a passenger the last few games And we loose the press.

wolves deserved the 3 points, we played poorly but the balance of the team was all wrong, we started with 3 centre forwards albeit in different positions. With just 2 in midfield one of whom is close to retirement and one who had his one season good game last week, We were constantly over run In midfield and had zero control.

FFS buy some quality in midfield.

Jones the one plus.
Rashford suddenly looks a pub team player.

Until we stop getting overrun in midfield and start controlling games/cutting out the errors, this is us.

Pressing football nowhere to be seen so far. Lovely long wait now until our next league game. Classic United.

It's all about midfielders. add prime Messi and Ronaldo to this line up, we would look exactly same. It's been years, I bet even Pep would look worst manager with MCT. I can't remember when we dominated midfield. It's not coincidence that every managers failed to manage our midfield. We just need to play with every technical midfielders we have, VDB - Fred - Bruno

Conte was the man. These players need a rocket up their arse and he was the man to fire it.
He would have come to the same realisation as the rest of us that the squad is a bit pants, demand to be backed with new players and inevitably fall out when it doesnt happen.

Yeah let’s let the players off the hook again and blame the manager. It’s all the managers fault. Poor players not being allowed to play well cos of Ralf….
And where did I say that? If he continues to play the same players in the same formation we won't magically get better, he needs to adapt his formation to our needs or he needs to drop/recruit.
