Hopefully the up to 11 players will be moved on in the summer fingers crossed!

Very weak and weird bunch of players who clearly hate each other and the club have to suffer for it because they can't act like adults and do what they are paid to do...

Obviously players can't be happy. We have underperformers who play every match. Players aren't stupid, they want opportunities to play. That's what's good for their careers. While they'll accept not playing of the team is doing well, when it does badly there's no chance they'll accept it.

I know people like to say Ole rebooted the squad but he didn't really, selling Lukaku and Fellaini isn't a reboot, most of the squad he inherited is still here. One of the first things he did was hand out contracts to his old mates and the players part of the furniture.

LVG had the right idea about implementing a style and refreshing the squad but the wrong set of players and style of football brought in.

So they were very happy with Ole and sad when he left and very unhappy with Rangnick and "disillusioned", what a bunch of soft losers.

A real change of culture is required and many should leave regardless of their footballing quality. Mentality and consistency are quite important qualities at the top level and we miss those.

The times and the Telegraph. Wheeler from the Daily Mail is also pretty on it when it comes to United.
Ah... well then maybe it is true but still I hate the sneakiness of it all. It's like we have one or two Littlefingers in our squad except chaos isn't a fooking ladder in PL football, it's a slide down to a pool of shit.

We han the perfect opportunity to fix the squad mess and bring more balanse to the team…. and we bought DVB and Ronaldo and didn’t sell Lingard and Pogba:wenger: I don’t think we can blame managers for this situation when obviously other persons in the hierarchy are responsible for handling theses issues.

Could have been like this:

———————DDG
AWB—Varane—Maguire—Shaw
———————Rice
———Bruno————Neves
Sancho— Greenwood—Rashford

I think it makes sense though. The entire bench is full of players who were sold false dreams and given contract extensions under the last management and just don’t get game time. They’re definitely one group united in their grievances.

As for the other ‘cliques’, I doubt it’s as clear cut as the Portugeezers vs the English, but it certainly would make sense. Ronaldo and Bruno fecked off at the likes of Maguire and Wan Bissaka not looking like they can control a ball this season, but then also those two equally as pissed off with Ronaldo and Bruno for stinking up the gaff upfront.

In all, this side is far too shite and unproven to have such gigantic egos. It’s pretty annoying.
Sadly some of it is true, it's highly unfortunate they are enough to have their own support group and it's stinking up the dressing room. The club is also a victim in all of this. That's a lot of money that's about to walk out of the front door.

Ultimately this is all stemming from being run so poorly for years and it doesn't look like the new roles of Murtough and co are going to change if the current Sancho contract is to be believed. Forgetting the contract even recently we've been doubling down on getting in ill-fitting and surplus to requirement players, big names and not letting go of players like Romero and causing grief, the Donny situation is appalling and damaging for the club, it's still a big mess. I wonder when Glazer will understand and get a new group in to run the club.

Upto 11 players?

It's like those New Year sales where they put up huge banners 'up to 50% off' and there is a £1 item for 50p and the rest with minimal reductions

Clickbait nonsense basically

The problem is that Matic does not have to do it. I do not know if he was instructed to do so or not but he always does it. It makes is worse because then our midfield gets overrun. We need at least one player who can control the ball and keep possession. Forget about counter attacks and fast breaks and all that sort of thing.
That leaves Fred and McTominay as the only available pairing, with Matic coming on in certain games. Maybe Ole was doing the best anyone can do given the midfield options?

I mean if they aren't happy they need to look to their own performances and motivations. When I played football I would very rarely look to the manager when things went wrong unless there was obvious questions over the team selection. Once you are on the pitch you try to out-work and out-compete the opponents. If you can't be motivated to do that when it is your job then you can only blame yourself.

I'm slowly starting to realise that I give zero fecks about this current batch of players. None of them. Even Rashford (who I would say was my current favourite player if someone pointed a gun to my head), if he left tomorrow I would maybe blink twice and that's it.

Thats fall out from ole though. always play his favourites whether shit, unfit or injured. Drop fringe players even if they do well. People are forgetting we got spanked by Liverpool, City and Watford, damage set in a long time ago
Well RR is playing the same players mostly and the ones on the bench are hardly performing either or world beaters. They need to shut up and start performing. Ronaldo though seems to be undroppable. RR should drop him, if a 6 months interim can’t do it, then who will?

It was dreadful before he arrived, we've deserved to win a handful of games this season. There is something fundamentally wrong with the players/squad that a few covid-interrupted weeks arent going to fix.
It was better under Carrick. In tougher fixtures. And Carrick is a novice.

He’s literally had 4 days of actual coaching. We saw what he wanted with Crystal Palace in the first 30. That’s exactly how he wants to play. The players have just reverted to type. Give him at least a month more of a less hectic schedule without a covid outbreak in between before you make your judgments.
That’s literally untrue.

I will say though that I'll be very glad if this all comes to a head now and these players start leaving in January. Let's try and clear as much of this bullshit as we can before a permanent manager is appointed, so the first six months of his time here aren't spent trying to deal with the same thing.

If I was the permanent manager what I'd ideally want to take over is a much thinner squad, filled out with youngsters if need be, consisting of players with the mental and physical capacity to play a higher intensity brand of football, and with space for more quality additions. Even if it's still short on quality, fine, just give me a squad suited to my brand of football with as little dead weight as possible.

Frankly Rangnick can turn the rest of this season into a death march for all I care. Put the most demands possible on them and let those who are too old, slow, weak or lazy drop out.
100% Yes. They already don't like him apparently so time to use it to the clubs advantage for once and not the players. He is only in charge for 6 months and then will have a say in appointing his successor so time to go back to the pressing he was trying to trying to implement in the first game and its sink or swim time for the players regardless of the name on the back of the shirt. Either you are willing & able to adopt to the new system or you are gone and replaced by someone else who is and it's that simple.

How I feel. The only ones I would keep would be De Gea, Varane, Sancho and Greenwood. Everyone else 'get out'

Its been 5 games and players are complaining that some players keep getting picked.... Clearly some players have an issue with Ronaldo?

Bruno, Rashford, Greenwood, Fred, Telles, AWB, Dalot, Shaw, Lindelof have all been dropped and replaced in games.

The 2 players that are a constant are Ronaldo and McTominay, so I wonder which player thinks that they are not getting a chance. Only ones I can think of are Henderson and Donny.

If it’s true and the club are paying Sancho that amount then no wonder there’s a mutiny. He’s offered nothing since signing for us, and this supposed big transfer window was our path to success too. Almost a million a week for Sancho and Ronaldo. No wonder we are the laughing stock of the league. Liverpool’s whole attacking unit probably earn less combined which just shows you where the clubs priorities are.

I want us to start from scratch. Really do. Mercenaries are what we used to describe players who signed for City, but in the end it turns out we are the ones signing them all.
United | Ronaldo £510K - Cavani £250K - Sancho £350K - Martial £250K - Rashford £200K
Liverpool | Mane £110K - Jota £90K - Salah £220K - Firminho £120K
City | Grealish 300K - Sterling £300K - Jesus 90K - B. Silva £150K

It's no wonder the club is a shambles and the dressing room is a festering mess

They can all feck right off is my mentality at this point. Sick of these cnuts, I don’t care who the 11 are just get rid. I only want players here who want to play for the club and are fully committed to making us successful again. Anyone hanging around for a payday and an easy ride can find a new club to turn into a toxic mess.

Neil Ashton was hired and still works for us as a consultant. Neil Custis is the guy Fergie called a cnut and LVG called fat man.
So we now shooting the messenger. Anyone doubting the reality?

We have the most bloated and unbalanced squad with the highest wages in the world (maybe Chelsea just overtook us?). Again, the surprise is nto that players want to leave, but that Woodward either signed them or gave them renewals and that they are still here. Why keep Lingard and not play him, he needed to be shipped out long ago, as did Martial, Bailly, Jones and Andreas to name just a few. Madness and complete incoherence from the top.

Is this the same Custis who was hired by Woodward for PR?

Maybe he doesn't want footballing opinions around.
No, Custis has never been hired for PR. You're thinking of Neil Ashton.

That’s literally untrue.
4 is an exaggeration. Made official on the 2nd, game on the 5th. 1 day of recuperation/rest, 1 day of training, game on the 8th. R&R, one day of training, game on the 11th. Covid outbreak, players return to training on the 23/24th but are training in split groups. Day off for the 25th, one day of training, match on the 27th. 1 day for R&R, one day of training and a match on the 30th. R&R, two days of training and then Wolves on the 3rd.

The majority of these training sessions are preparation for the next game. He's had little to no time to instil his tactical philosophy in actual training sessions. Now he finally has a full week of training. It's no coincidence that Klopp said 'he will realise due to the schedule he has almost no time to train his players'. And Shaw said that now we have a full week of training Rangnick will able to bring his new ideas.

Beauty of this all is that Ralf can help the next manager identify all these trouble making players and will have guaged whos good enough and who is not so we can build properly.
This is spot on. I was hoping he would not only weed out but also sow some new seeds but if it's a clean-up job, then so be it. The next guy can then come into a clean slate and plant some seeds for the long term.

Just need to make sure Ralf cleans out all the weeds, don't leave any behind because of PR or transfer value.

Can we legally pull a barca and cut their wages? It'll definitely clash with the labor protection laws (pfft these lot supposedly being "laborers") but God if there is a bunch worthless scum deserving it, its them

I know the club brought this upon itself and has no right to pull of something like this and won't be able to anyway , but the anarchy it would cause is worth seeing.

Its evident from our performances and from what Shaw said that there's a huge element of truth in all of this. Players aren't following the manager's instructions, some are downing tools and making mistakes that shouldn't be done at this level. In my opinion, this is the result of players having it too easy in the past 3 years and not being prepared to return to professional football again. They want to undermine Rangnick so they rather then him would have a say on who'll replace Ole as permanent manager

That’s an interesting summary. Six days training with the squad in total since he took over.
