Elanga has done more in the last 2 games than Rashford has done the whole season. Embarrassing.

At this rate he will end up worse than Walcott. Never thought he was going to be WC but thought he would be a good player, but he has just gotten so, so bad. Confidence is gone and decision making is terrible. I have a feeling Jesse’s company hasn’t been great for his attitude either. Needs a real hard look at himself in the mirror.

Just doesn't have a footballing brain. Runs into players and looks confused when dispossessed. He clearly believes he's better than what he is.
Yep. Worst player in the squad in terms of footballing IQ.

He is just so utterly stupid for a footballer.

40 yards out with a player free out to the left. Smashes it over the bar.

A chance to shoot on the edge of the box. Tries to play it through 4 Atletico players.

Many people were conned.

Rashford's all-round game was always this awful, and some of us spotted it.

The difference was, in the past, he would nick a goal every couple of games or a decent assist from one good moment. Stat-padding with penalties or goals against weak opponents.

That, coupled with the "local lad come good" narrative, our desperation for some hope at times and favourable treatment from pundits conned people into thinking he is something he never was

In another World, with another trajectory, he could easily, easily be upper level Championship, lower level Premier League.

At this rate he will never start a game for us. Elanga looks miles better with both on and off the ball.

Lost his hunger. Don't know why but he hates playing football. Looks like he would rather be somewhere else.

Really, really bad. Confidence looks absolutely shot. Needs a break from the first team to get his head together. Hope he can come back from all this.

This "go out there do your thing" wont work with him anymore. His thing is serving dogshit performances week in week out. This guy needs special coaching.

His race is run at United, he was never brilliant but made up for it with pace, drive and graft....its all gone. Get the most we can for him in the summer and move on

Started tonight based on his reputation and pace which sadly the only thing that has left in his locker.

To me it looks like a bad attitude. He just didn't look up for the fight and has been given so many opportunities to get going, but he's constantly doing daft shite. Shooting from all angles, head down and flapping his arms around when he makes mistakes

This moment really summed up his season. The lowest iq footballer I have ever seen playing for us. Need to be banished to the reserves for that crap alone

Proper 0/10 performance. I don’t know why we chose to handicap ourselves by starting him.

Tricky to tell which. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt and going with confidence in the toilet. Whichever it is, he looks absolutely awful at the mo. Definitely shouldn't be starting.

He just doesn't look the same player anymore. This lad had so much energy and confidence. He just short of both at the moment. Nothing came off for him and at the moment it's such so frustrating to watch him play.

Do we have any other player who can play wide? Lingard is going out, Greenwood is brain dead, Rashford is atrocious, Mata is going out. We just have Jadon and Elanga who can play decent and stay well beyond this season.

Wtf is wrong with him?!

Forget about a bad touch or decision making. At least just make an effort/show you're trying.

He just sulks around the pitch in a half hearted lazy jog, then just walks if the ball goes past him defensively... As though he's just lost interest in football - stop starting him!

I agree with the bad attitude argument. This guy lost two finals, each for club and country. He should have been pumped up for the upcoming season hoping to lift some silverware but dropped his shoulders. Same can be said for his other English teammates.

Tragic perfomance, especially when he couldn't beat Savic in a foot race.

I've noticed he does this one specific thing every game now - at one point in the game he decides to run full speed almost the whole length of the pitch chasing the ball to the opposition's goalkeeper, all for nothing. Then it's like "I'm done for the night, guys". And checks out.

I think there's more to it than bad form. He looks like he has serious problems.

All players have a spell out of form, but it's been 2 years now that he's been consistently poor.

lack of confidence is forgivable, it happens but to look and act as though you aren't bothered is inexcusable.

hanging round with the world's oldest child hasn't helped either.

I'm now at the point of hoping he leaves with Lingard in the summer

I really don't know what to say about Rashford right now. Elanga is comprehensively outshining him.

Last two years it's been that he is playing injured. Now he's had rest and surgery what's the excuse?

He's lost his pace and he now no longer runs in behind. Either he is still in pain and he can no longer actually play football at a high level or he can no longer be bothered.

Nothing, outside of a stress fracture in his spine, can excuse that performance. Utterly devoid of technique, vision, ability or mindset. No longer doing the basics, jogging, turning over the ball with ease, no physicality.

It's time to bench him and think about running down his contract.

Phew, where did it all go wrong Rashy. Needs to turn it around quick you feel. His attitude just comes across as toxic at the moment.

Spoilt. No other word for it.
Take away the wage (he’d be sacked in any other line of work) for not doing his job. Obviously doesn’t have a real world grasp of how lucky he is not to be stacking shelves somewhere.
Please no responses about his mental health. He is living in a fantasy situation and is stealing a living right now.

He put a shift in tonight. Worked harder than usual. So so bad on the ball though. Scholes making a good point in analysis. We’ve loads of young players not learning and developing because we’re a team without leaders and role models. Nobody calling out players during a match if they’re not doing their job. A bunch of self-absorbed fannies. I fear that Rashford’s career will epitomise all the wasted talent of the post Fergie era.
