The club has not yet made known what it wants to do to the player or his entourage, which somewhat regrets this deadlock. Luis Suárez, serious and professional as always, thinks about performing and scoring goals, but he would like more clarity. We'll see what happens in the coming weeks.
Luis Suárez's future is still up in the air. The 35-year-old striker's contract ends in June and a final decision regarding renewal has not yet been made. Some of the teams that have already asked about him: Inter Miami, Sevilla, Ajax, Aston Villa and Botafogo. Nothing signed.

Nah we’re going to have a starting 11 of keepers who play well against us. Heaton is more than adequate cover for the 3 games a season where Dave doesn’t play.
If DDG gets a long term injury, can't see us relying on Heaton so reckon this is the Henderson replacement. The joys.

I don't get it, so why did we even sign Heaton this season ? just a waste of money
Heaton is more of a third choice keeper and Grant is now a coach?

Johnstone would be a very good no.2 in my opinion. He's a good keeper that could be starting in the PL.

Buying second or third choice GKs is like insurance. Don’t necessarily want to spend it but crucial if you end up needing it. I think Johnstone is a hell of a backup on a free. Also home grown which helps in squad registration. He’s a current England international and only 28 years old. Heaton’s older but still decent probably so makes sense he’s our third keeper. Lee Grant seems somewhat superfluous but he supposedly coaches so maybe they see promise in him in that department.

A sign that Deano is on his way?
Isn't Johnston an academy lad as well?

In a hypothetical scenario that DDG leaves, we could have all of our 3 GK positions filled out by our academy graduates: Deano, Heaton and Johnston

I thought he was on 10K?
Nope, 30k.

So just the £6.2 million in wages he would have cost us since he joined by the time this season is over. During which time he's made just two appearances. Derby and Astana.

I'm sure people will say it's nothing in the grand scheme of things, a drop in the bucket etc, but we're also not a charity. If we do have some sort of goalkeeping crisis I'm sure we've someone from the youth team that can hold the fort for a game or so. Pissing away money.

This basically means that Kessié's going to be a free agent in the summer. I don't see how Milan will be able to meet his demands.

They are likely to have a hell of a team next year if many of the rumored deals go through. This year's disaster may have been a blessing in disguise for them, and it's not even that bad if they manage to qualify for the champions league next year. It's a shame we probably won't get to see them languish for a while :)

I still think they’ll struggle to get to latter stages of the CL. La Liga is terrible at the moment.

in fairness though they’re doing a lot of business quickly. A proper rebuild. Can’t imagine United doing that.
