Pogba's contract offer

We will never get a penny for him whether it’s this summer or when a new contract ends. It’s done. The club lost this one. All it can do is not continue to lose more money and stink the dressing room out over it.
You are correct that we won't get any transfer monies back on him when he leaves in June......however, commercially for the club, I am sure it is not seen like this. Directly and more importantly, indirectly, Pogba will have had a significant commerical earning value that will have been attributed to him over the last 5 years.

From a pure footballing view - he has been a costly disappointment, however, through our owers and commercial department's eyes, they will have seen it differently. It's exactly the same again with Ronaldo.

As fans, we are looking at performance - passes, goals, effort, and commitment from our players as metrics to measure them on.......elsewhere in the club they are looking for Likes, tweets, advertising, merchandising, and sponsorship as priority metrics.

If you wonder why we gave Bruno a new contract now? It certainly wasn't because of the fan's metrics! A bit of security commercially.

If Ronaldo also leaves with Pogba this summer then our commercial department will require a new shiny toy for next season.......

It's not a coincidence but it's a bit stupid to lose faith in someone's ability to advise you on how to run the club in a proper manner based on their inability to get a tune of a bunch of overpaid primadonnas in your first team.
For sure, but it speaks volumes about the way we’re run. If Rangnick had them playing brilliant football they’d have made him permanent. We’re run so short sighted that details of his consultancy role are pretty much dependant on how his managerial stint goes, otherwise there would be a plan in place for what he’s actually going to do in the summer already.

Yeah and that's the dumbest bit. If he'd done well as interim they'd be more likely to take his advice at DOF level which is nuts.

While I was hoping the next manager will sort us out this just proves stupidity still reigns supreme at OT so ETH has his work cut out for him.

Hopefully PSG takes him so RM is not ruined by Pogba and his agent.

The most disappointing signing in recent history?

Top 3 most disappointing signing ever?

Chap has undeniable talent, but its not worth a piss when he has no character.

Utd has been crying out for a leader in his time but rather than doing that he's spent his years here bitching and flirting with other clubs.

Good luck Paul, thanks for feck all, enjoy your millions.

This story has finally come to an end. Such a talented player who hasn't performed up to the expectation.

it’s a shame, I really enjoyed his first 2 years, but ever since that big ankle injury and then covid, he’s not been the same.

the club wisely aren’t bowing to a huge wage offer. I’ll miss him on his good days, but they are far too rare lately.

I don't understand the hate he gets but it's right for us to let him go now. We need more mobility in midfield. Injuries have impacted him a lot and will only get worse.

Juve canceled Dybala’s contract offer, saying he is no more part of the plans, Real Madrid the same with Ramos and Ronaldo

United should do the same

Really hoping he doesn’t sign. He is exactly the profile of player we need to be moving on from. Synonymous with the worst era in the clubs modern history, but acted like he wasn’t as culpable as everyone else.

"Injured" - more like I don't want to have a serious injury so I can't sign for anyone else in a few months so I'm off to Dubai again.

The guys a grade A asshat.

I do hope he leaves.
He has been next to useless for us.
His best season was his first season under Jose....after that he was average and most of the time injured.
I wish him the best of luck in his future endevours.

What the feck is up with that cryptic tweet, I'll be back?
Has he done an 180 seeing that no one is willing to pay those inane wages?

Addition by subtraction.

We can finally take steps into building a functional midfield. FINALLY.

Literally still have the same clowns we had since the mourinho era. Absolute joke.

Only just seen this tweet. My first thoughts too…coming to terms with the fact not many clubs want him or if they do, not on the wages he thinks he should command. Reality bites hard.

Please United just do the right thing and sack him off.

Looks like he and Cavani play from the same book.

"Fein injury....get three weeks in Dubai...laugh at the fans"

IF Utd are dumb enough to give him a new contract....I will try and be done with Utd.

Surely they can't be that stupid? Can they???
