I think I'll remember more Riaola's and Pogba's shite quotes than Pogba's performances.

Also, OP is very wrong, he wasn't France's best midfielder, and many people here who weren't deluded by his highlights goals from Juve and actually watched their games knew he wasn't their best midfielder. Back then I remember him being pretty much the same player that he was for us, just in better system, but without the injuries. If I had to make my XI for CL final tomorrow, I would easily take any of Marchisio, Vidal, or Pirlo ahead of him any time.

Looking at the big games he performed in and who against, I can only remember him doing well against Chelsea at OT consistently.
But he never performed against Arsenal, Liverpool and City, minor one half of football which is abit overhyped in most ways as Matic and Herrera were just as influential, arguably more, than Pogba himself.
Never did it in the CL for us either.

His debut against Southampton in 2017 was magnificent. He looked like prime Yaya Toure in that game. Apart from that his United career will mostly remain a complete blur to me, aside from his headed goals against City and Chelsea and his performance against Leeds in the first game of this season.

Overall a complete failure of a signing, I think Ferguson was proved correct in letting him leave the club the first time.
