City can even afford a narrow loss now with that GD. Very close to the league now.

Sterling tonight reminds me of Rashford last season, missing chances, wrong decision making, awful passing but gets a goal to make up for it

We had the equivalent in Europe with Barcelona about.
Yeah, slightly different scenario, but I get you. It was mightily frustrating playing them In those finals because it felt like no matter what you did or how well we played, they were just simply too good. We just had the misfortune of being good when arguably the best club side ever existed.

KDB, is clearly worried City might sign MCFRED and fighting for his place tonight.

Sometimes you need to watch football and not read it
The initial point I made which was that his goalscoring record is very good. I mentioned nothing else! Sometimes you need to make sure you understand and read through the content thoroughly before interfering with someone else's conversation.

Good on City to bump up the goal difference. Hopefully Liverpool will be knackered after the FA cup final too.

The West ham match is virtually the title if they win that one.

I get you but there’s a gulf between how Liverpool are winning games and how this City team operate 95% of the time in the league. Liverpool frequently win games they may not deserve to whilst City drop points in games they absolutely dominate. It’s phenomenally rare to see City outplayed whilst Liverpool only look *this* dominant maybe 5-6 times across a 38-game season. There’s a huge difference between the teams, for me.
But not in terms of points, which is what I was getting at. I agree that City are playing way better, though. But it must be infuriating for socusers.

A draw is basically a loss when you're in a title race with City. Can barely afford to drop any points.
Yeah, the margin for error is minuscule. You would say that it's unsustainable. But, they manage to sustain it, so...

This is why I say that the PL is now the hardest to win ever.

It’s like Bayern in the German league yes the rest of the league aren’t the best but if you want to win the league you have to finish ahead of them and any slip up is mostly given up

We’ll it was on so the media jump on it. But I found it strange as City were obviously huge favourites for the league
I was listening to BBC radio 4 this morning and they were banging on about the Quadruple live from Merseyside. Had some ex-Red on talking about the ‘treble’ they won in 1984. Media have so much to answer. Cringe.

Such is the dominance of City in the league that I'm surprised they are on course to finish on *only* 95 points
