Hasn't been sold yet? Meh.
That's fans shouting at the game. I mean fan sentiment doesn't influence what the club does. That's just not true. If fans didn't have an impact, then home advantage wouldnt be a statistically proven thing across every league.
The people criticising Rashford is more to do with his attitude on the pitch last season. Social media is just the icing on the cake. If he had of put the effort in then he could post whatever he liked and the caf would still be a happy place. He didn't. So it's not.Social media is very simple, if you don't want to see Rashford posts don't follow him and don't scour every online paper for daily news. People are going mad with their own nonsense.
Yet that same bunch of people probably had been defending Pogba the last five years. The people criticising Rashford is more to do with his attitude on the pitch last season. People get too worked up about 'news reports.' They take it as gospel but the reality is they are just being selective in how they process these 'reports' -- according to or just reinforcing their own narrative.Exactly
True. Everything is twisted to suit the narrative they have already chosen, especially for the player they didn't like from the start and comes up with bs reason to hate the player.People get too worked up about 'news reports.' Or we are just a bit tired of the same old shit.True. Everything is twisted to suit the narrative they have already chosen, especially for the player they didn't like from the start and comes up with bs reason to hate the player.
Then don't follow his account or anything related to him, or scroll past the tweet that posted Rashford's video or anything related to him. No one is forcing people to watch the videos.Or we are just a bit tired of the same old shit.
It’s the irrational off field sentiment that many have for Rashford that clouds their on field judgement. It’s so puerile. Then don't follow his account or anything related to him, or scroll past the tweet that posted Rashford's video or anything related to him. On the pitch criticism is perfectly fine and he has been for last 18 months, doesn't mean people have to moan about what he does off the pitch, that too on his vacation.
Maybe not all the posts and videos are targeted for you, there might be young Rashford fans who love this content.
I hate most of our fans based on this thread.God I hate him
Rashford has been below par for a long while, and there is no guarantee that he will ever display his best again. There are also some very strange people associated with United's fans.God I hate him
You are right. We should forget last season and enjoy a fresh start. Nothing good will come from complaining again and again. Ten Hag should have time to work with the team. Most players won’t leave anyway, so we should try to get as much as we can from them. The club has been a bit of a sh*tshow for some time now. Why can we all easily accept that but then not be able to accept that the same situation might have affected players form?
We are all too quick to attack everything nowadays. It's a new beginning for the club with lots to be excited about. IMO everyone should reset, park the moaning for a while and try to be positive, at least until we have new reasons not to be.
On field performance has nothing to do with what they lost, i didn't see anyone using his off field work to make excuses for his poor performance, on the other hand, people who hate him used his off field work as one of the reason for his poor performance and he should concentrate only on football. It’s the irrational off field sentiment that many have for Rashford that clouds their on field judgement. It’s so puerile.
I can assure you that I don’t seek out his social media posts in the ether, I only see them when someone posts them on here. But, the fact that he puts them out allows for warranted criticism, especially when his on field performance has been poor to abysmal for the past 18 months.
Never mind this thread -- what sort of fans are United fans who seem to take any opportunity to slag off the club, players etc? Fair weather fans. All clubs go up and down. If they know the history of United they would be a lot more patient and more forgiving.I hate most of our fans based on this thread.
The criticisms of him on here are so OTT and dramatic it is amazing.
I am pretty sure he will. He played with a fecked up back for 12months before going for surgery. He deserves some credit in the bank for that. Also, ETH will be his 5th.... 5th manager in his relatively young career. That has got to affect his confidence at some point especially when all the managers have different approaches. It would be massive for us if he can regain his old form
with a new manager I'm optimistic of improvement, at the very least.. I mean, it would be hard not to improve at this point
Another factor in his down-trend, and well everyones really might be their mental health. I'm assuming he was mates with Greenwood. And just going by how upset I got by all that, I can't imagine how it felt for his teammates.I am pretty sure he will. He played with a fecked up back for 12months before going for surgery. He will come good.
Loss of confidence and fans booing him will do that. I get really disgusted when fans boo their own players. I was at Anfield once where a section of the crowd was shouting in unison telling the club Liverpool captain to feck off.Another factor in his down-trend, and well everyones really might be their mental health. I'm assuming he was mates with Greenwood. And just going by how upset I got by all that, I can't imagine how it felt for his teammates.
If you add on top of that the pressure of playing for United, you could see how it might be an issue.
My first season on the terraces we were relegated. I wonder how that would go down now?Never mind this thread -- what sort of fans are United fans who seem to take any opportunity to slag off the club, players etc? Fair weather fans. Yeah, I agree. On field performance has nothing to do with what they lost, i didn't see anyone using his off field work to make excuses for his poor performance, on the other hand, people who hate him used his off field work as one of the reason for his poor performance and he should concentrate only on football.
Never happened.I am pretty sure he will. He played with a fecked up back for 12months before going for surgery. He deserves some credit in the bank for that. Also, ETH will be his 5th.... 5th manager in his relatively young career. That has got to affect his confidence at some point especially when all the managers have different approaches.
He will come good.
He used pain killing injections for a whole season to enable him to play whilst delaying shoulder surgery.Never happened.
Only if those 12 months were super good. If a player (not just Rashford) plays through their injuries and plays shit during that period, because it is paining, then it is all moot. There is no credit earned during the phase. He played with a fecked up back for 12months before going for surgery. He deserves some credit in the bank for that.
Exactly, it's weird there are few posters who just make up things to have a go at player.Yeah, I agree.
The fact is that hardly anyone uses his off-pitch status as an excuse for poor performances - it's an idea that mainly exists in the minds of people who dislike him.
The same goes for a lot of our players: hardly anyone defends their performances unduly for sentimental or irrational reasons - it's almost always a case of defending them, on principle, against fellow fans who go too far in their "criticism" (and who seem to think that the latter is a healthy "standard" that everyone should adhere to).
Just like youse made up things to defend him from non existence long term injury to potential mental sickness issueExactly, it's weird there are few posters who just make up things to have a go at player.
Rashford posted engagement pic, some weirdo came up with what might be the future excuse for the player.
His injuries were not non existent to be fair. I mean its well documentedJust like youse made up things to defend him from non existence long term injury to potential mental sickness issue
I don't know who is 'Youse', long term injury is non existent? Yeah, he took break after Wolves game in FA cup just for fun . He was even ruled out for rest of the season, covid break was the reason he played that season again.Just like youse made up things to defend him from non existence long term injury to potential mental sickness issue
Any moment you will see how fake all those injuries were, his double stress fracture was just PR gimmick. His injuries were not non existent to be fair. I mean its well documented
Oh it's like WWE. He'll miraculously jump up out of a wheelchair, after breaking both legs, to run onto the pitch to score a screamer next year in the FA Cup Final.Any moment you will see how fake all those injuries were, his double stress fracture was just PR gimmick.
