I think so.

If it were Shuri I'd expect a different colour palette for Marvel to sell toys, in the comics her Black Panther costume is black with a purple cape. Also T'Challa's mum says 'I've lost my entire family' which hints that Shuri isn't around either otherwise it'd be a weird thing to say, and there's a shot of Shuri looking like she's in a different plane - maybe trying to get Killmonger back which would explain why they brought in Ironheart as the 'tech' person in Wakanda to fill that role during this movie as well as setting up Amor Wars. They needed T'Challas body to bring him back from the ancestral plane in BP1 and at the end of BP1 Killmonger requested to be buried in the ocean, so the massive ship going out into the sea might be an attempt to reclaim his body from Namor who would have it.
RE: bolded. Could be a scene set during the blip, both T'Challa and Shuri were blipped.

So apparantly the internet is mad, because T'Challah wasn't recast and kept alive.

The way they handle it seems quite nice actually.

Great trailer, just hope that they don't under power Namor.
Pretty much all of the MCU is nerfed and they've already reduced Thor God of Thunder to just comic relief. I wouldn't be surprised if Namor is portrayed in the style of The Deep.

Yes shameful indeed...

....and don't get me started on Hulk.
But he wasn't fat for the sake of being fat, there's context and story behind it. So how's he been reduced to "just" comic relief?

To be fair, he was more comic relief/goofy in love and thunder and I hated it. Especially after they seemed to get a good balance between Ragnarok and the Avengers movies..

I think so.

The suit shown is basically his from Black Panther, black and gold with the long gold fingernails.

So while that makes sense to me, a con here is it feels a bit weird setting a precedent that if they have the power to bring people back from the dead that the Wakandans would choose Killmonger and not T'Challa. Obviously outside of the movies we know why, but that would be reason enough for me to avoid that plot line completely because it just doesn't make any sense why they'd choose him. I can't think of a conceivable way that a director can explain why in the movie the Wakandans decided to resurrect the murdering cousin who overthrew them and ruled tyrannically for a bit instead of the just and fair king they all love.
I think the Lego sets disprove that theory.

So you're ok with this portrayal of Thor? Regardless of the context, it was completely unnecessary and OTT and didn't really add any value to the story. Frankly, it was pathetic. I could fully understand it if he had been stripped of his powers or something and mortal, but this was still Thor, God of Thunder ffs, crying and pleading for a chance to make things right? He was even badmouthing some kid on Fortnite ffs!

It just gets worse with every film he does.

Terrible take, clearly his story has gone right over your head.

Evidently it has. I won't tarnish the Black Panther thread any longer but will do some research. Whatever the reasons, I will say that the story was poorly scripted and executed. I'll leave it at that.

Wakanda Forever. I bet it feels like forever when watching this movie. Are there any Marvel films that are under 2 1/2 hours? I don't know why everyone thought the first BP was any good. Some good actors, but it was silly, overlong, and a CGI wankfest like all the other Marvel movies, just set in a mythical African nation. Same shite, different locale.

Truth like rain don't give a feck who it falls on.
But the stripes on the legs are gold, like in the trailer.
We'll see, I noticed barely the presence of it but I'm not convinced. She's still using her hand blasters in there and no helmet and the colour scheme is wrong. Would be pointless to make that toy if she was in a far bigger role. I wouldn't hate it if it happened since it's comic book accurate, I don't really care who the new BP is I just find their direction and the setup and what's revealed in the trailers odd if this is what they're going with. But it's probably going to be great either way.

Pretty sure Shuri is the next panther.

Also think they will destroy Wakanda in this like they did with Asgard in Thor Rag. Hence "Wakanda Forever"

Alright by Kendrick is probably one of my most listened songs ever so they have that going for me in the trailer. His music was the only interesting thing about the first one anyway.

This doesn't have that so looks like it will be more bog standard "Wakanda loses panther, gets attacked and destroyed then someone comes back from being dead, rescues everyone, good night".

You say that like it's a matter of fact.

I loved the first one.

But this is redcafe, most movies get trashed as if they were forced to watch 2 girls 1 cup.

Overrated and filled with the dodgiest CGI since scorpion King.
