Nothing most already don't know. Horrendous. You can't play modern football with this guy between the sticks.

We have learnt nothing new, he is not a modern keeper yet we expect him to change this far into his career.

He is awful, don't want to see him play for United ever again.

It was known that his contract renewal for £375k was an awful bit of business. Doing that right after getting off of Rooney's terrible deal was something only our board is capable of.

Ten Hag should have been ruthless like Pep at City when he binned Joe Hart. DDG has no place in a team looking to play possession football, I mean he's like 4th choice for the Spanish NT at the moment.

Another consistently shit performance by David which has been the case since 2018. Funny thing is the rare times he manages more than 3 average games in a row he loves to give the stick out to his team mates.

Why oh why did we ever give him that big contract a couple of years ago. He's shite

It’s time to make the right call. We can’t continue like this. Recall Henderson!

Terrible, terrible performance. The first 2 goals were really painful to watch. Something you expect to see at an amateur level. He got paid for that!

Another game ruined by his habitual dodgy goalkeeping leading to the mental breakdown in this spineless team.

He will make a holywood save against dippers and all will be forgiven.
Didn't take Spain long enough to see DDG is a highlight goal keeper but we are here, stuck with him for another season.

He is horrific.

Whatever happened afterwards, we don't know how this game would have gone if he didn't hand them 2 goals. Our team is mentally soft as feck, we know this... so de Gea doing what he did today is unforgivable.

He isn't even a decent shot-stopper anymore and hadn't been since 2018, a purple patch last season didn't change that.

I blame the club for me not wanting to see him in goal for us again. Should have been sold or at least challenged at some point with real competition. Henderson was never a proven goalkeeper at the highest level.

Getting a new goalkeeper in should be prioritized right after a midfielder.

4 years of poor form and we are not at the end.

Terrible GK, shame we didn't sign Pope or even retained Henderson.

What is there that need be said that hasn’t been said? Arguably the wurst performance of his career.

That should be his last season here.

Too many past it or shit players in the squad, I don't know when we are going to replace all of them.

De Gea is a MAJOR problem in our team.

He simply can't play the ball out from the back.

That effectively means that De Gea cannot play the style of football that Ten Hag wants.

Something has to give.

It is time for De Gea to move on, because I'm backing the manager.

Always been a reflex keeper now they are on the wane as he is getting older his mediocrity in all other aspects is showing. Pretty much identical to his fellow countryman Cassilias who was also done at a similar age.

Said it for about 4-5 seasons now. People were outraged when I said he isn't good enough. Another awful game that his fans will gloss over because he makes a great save now and then

Manchester Utd never lose, just run out of time
But but...he's one of the best in the world don't you know?!?!

It's a joke.

2018 World Cup = Terrible
18/19 = Average first half of the season, terrible second half which cost us CL qualification
19/20 = Poor all season, made huge errors to get us knocked out in the Europa and FA Cup semi's.
20/21 = Poor all season, made huge error to get us knocked out of the CL
21/22 = Good shot-stopping start to the season, quickly fell away and was poor in the second half.
22/23 = Started just like he's been for all these last few years.

Just how long are people going to pretend that he's even remotely close to being good enough anymore, let alone close to being a top keeper?

Even forgetting the mistake in the first goal, that's about five goals we've conceded in the last 18 months where he's played the same ball out to the central player when he's in a terrible position to receive it and, lo-and-behold, he loses it and we concede. This one was even worse than the others where at least some of the blame could be given to the player he was passing to, but DDG make the wrong decision to pass it to them in all of them. Trying to play the ball out from the back doesn't mean you give your players hospital passes.

Once the howlers come back, he's simply not good enough at everything else to make up for it. And we've sold his only competition for number 1. Shocking, shocking stuff.

Again did ok last season but I would've had him gone when he was throwing the goals in during our collapse from 3rd to 6th in Ole's first season.

it was a catastrophic decision to give him 375k, he's had too many long spells of poor from and errors in recent years and when he's performing well/ok he's still flawed at everything bar shot stopping and invites that kind of pressure with how poor he is in other areas.
