Well BBC already reporting the fee as £70m. They are reporting the Gibbs-White deal as £25m + add-ons but ours will be reported with add-ons included.
60m plus 10m I have seen in many places. It's a great deal for Madrid tbh.

For as good as he is, he isn’t going to make Fred look much better. Let’s be realistic here, Fred is about as bland and average as you are going to get in a Brazilian.

Absolutely insane. People wanking themselves chafed and raw for weeks over FDJ, then Casemiro comes careening in over the course of a couple of days

He’s gonna get the challenge he’s seeking, that’s for sure. I’m glad he got bored of winning.

who do you feckin think ?
Good signing and it shows that this shower can sign players when they really want to. Imagine if they had signed Rabiot, no way this would have happened.

Yea I know. They should report it in a similar way as well. Both of the articles are literally right next to each other on their front page but 1 is reported with total fee, add-ons included and the other is reported as fee + add-ons.

See the difference? Fecking hate how they do that.

Nice.
For all my pissing and moaning this past few weeks, this a good piece of business.

It's a coup for the Glazers. Brazil will be watching and reporting about United. #relevância

Athletic reporting up to £70m and £375k per week. Wow. That is huge money for 4 years!

Has there ever been a player over 30 play his entire career in another league and then come to the PL and do well? As good a player as he has been, this is going to be tough in this Utd team.

I hope the poster I warned the other day for putting 20+ laughing smilies in the original thread has egg on their face tonight!

It's a good deal for everyone involved, even though I'm sure the journos will do their classic 'winners and losers of the Casemiro deal' click magnet piece.

Madrid gets a good sum of money (who cares if it's 60 or 70) at a position where they have a lot of young and promising midfielders
Casemiro gets a huge sporting challenge and a fat contract after winning all.
We get one the best defensive midfielders in the game instead of McTominay, who bless his soul, just isn't a top level player.

What makes them more reliable than the folks saying it's euros?
Nothing. The BBC can't make the difference between Euros, Pounds Sterling and Shekels.

BBC are very reliable for this stuff. Lots of people saying it's 60m plus 10m in pounds.

Madrid extra has the figure in Euros and it's more than 70m euros. More like 80m Euros.

Is it 70m GBP? Even if they include add-ons 70M EUR is 60M GBP right?

Absolutely brilliant signing but we still need another player to come in to play alongside him. Someone with the craft and guile to thread the lines and open up passing angles in a deeper role.

Ten Hag has a huge upgrade on the existing options at his disposal and Casemiro is also a huge upgrade on Edson Alvarez who was the DM at Ajax. We now need the Gravenberch profile.

Always enjoy those players who've been around for ages but we never thought we'd see in the Premier League. Going to be weird watching him on MotD.
