I could type loads more about it, man. It just feels great to play. Looks great, sounds amazing, fun as hell, and it just hits that spot. Like a really delicious meal after you've spent all day fecking starving.Great post.
The game never gets old it's undoubtedly my most played PS5 game. Definitely scratches that itch when you wanna just play something and have fun....I could type loads more about it, man. How far did you get? There's indeed no real exploration beyond collectibles and story isn't particularly interesting, but the gameplay is so good I can't put it down. I made it past the second boss now, so I'll probably go all the way. An excellent addition to the PS Plus lineup, I encourage anyone who put it in their library to check it out.I played it a few weeks ago, and yes - it's a very difficult game. Steep learning curve. I did like it, but I gave up in the end. When you have a difficult game like that, I need something in there to keep me going to in order to overcome the difficulty. The From games have that sense of exploration that drives you on, and something like Cuphead is just such a gorgeous and unique-looking game that I wanted to carry on playing until I completed it.
But I couldn't find anything like that with this game, unfortunately, so I ditched it. It is very satisfying when you nail a particular area though.
Oh not far. Got to that boss fight with all the lasers. It's the first boss I think. It pissed me off so I stopped there! Again, it's not so much the difficulty, per se, it's just that I need something there to keep me going and to persevere. Sometimes it can be the gameplay; but not in this instance. How far did you get? Fewer deaths than my elden ring experienceFinished Ghostrunner now but that final level was absolutely brutal, soured my experience a bit. Still, overall a good game with stellar gameplay. Final death count is 1444 over roughly 9 hours, so about a death every 22 seconds. Might check out the DLC as well.
Yeah, I also played the first 30 minutes of that game and wondered what the feck was happening
The fat chefs were terrifying. There's a Little Nightmares 2, too, which I haven't played.Wow Little Nightmares is a short but sweet little gem isn't it. Much better than stray and creepy as hell. Might play through again at some point and go for the platinum.
I know Kamurocho in Yakuza so intimately that when I went to the area in Tokyo it is based on I didn't need directions.Yeah, I also played the first 30 minutes of that game and wondered what the feck was happening
Seems you have the option of downloading both a free trial and the full game on the PS Store, so you must've accidentally picked the wrong version. Make sure you pick the version marked with PS Plus, not the one that says free.I've downloaded little nightmares bit it says start trial. Wtf. Thought it was the full game with ps plus
That's the thing with PS Plus games, as long as you don't add them to your library first, you don't have them, and it might default to a free trial version.Don't really understand why it wouldn't default to the full game download if you have the full game. Stupid bullshit.
I stumbled upon a Yakuza 1 stream years ago, watched five to ten minutes of it and knew that it was the kind of game I'd love to play. I'm awful at rhythm games/minigames so the likes of the karaoke and disco minigames I know I'll never be able to complete so won't get the plat but really enjoying Yakuza 0 so far. Ten hours into the game and only just finished chapter 2 (of 16?) because I've been wandering around doing substories and playing bowling.
I always add them, even though I know the chance of me playing the game will be about 2%That's the thing with PS Plus games, as long as you don't add them to your library first, you don't have them, and it might default to a free trial version.
Yeah, I mean, I'm not that great at the karaoke mini-game, but, I exhort you to play the karaoke all the same because the songs are just super addictive. The sub-stories are some of the best stuff about it. The wackiness and humour of some of them are brilliant. Have you got to the Pocket Circuit Fighter racing side story yet?I stumbled upon a Yakuza 1 stream years ago, watched five to ten minutes of it and knew that it was the kind of game I'd love to play. Yeah I played that for hours not even a fan of micromachines but doing all the different races and then the thing with the girl wanting to give Kiryu her 'most important thing' and her dad was greatYeah, I mean, I'm not that great at the karaoke mini-game, but, I exhort you to play the karaoke all the same because the songs are just super addictive. I always do as well, you never know. That's how I recently played and really enjoyed Ghostrunner, even though I had no idea what it was when I added it to my library.I always add them, even though I know the chance of me playing the game will be about 2%

Yeah can't say I approve of some of the shit they do but like you say they scratch a lot of itches (love their games and VR stuff) so for now, I still fcuk with them.I know we saw something similar for one of the Oculus VR headsets recently, but for a home console, this has to be unprecedented, right? Seems like a terrible, terrible decision. Maybe it won't affect hardware sales in the short term, but between this and the AAA game prices, Sony seem determined to destroy the goodwill built up in the previous gen.
Such a weird company. I love (most of) their games and their dedication to VR, but I'm definitely not a fan of the business side of things. I blame Jim Ryan.
If you haven’t played it The Artful Escape is a nice and easy few hours to play through.Any hidden gems discovered on PS plus? Looking for something to sink into this weekend. Observer was great. Ashen seems alright but the framerate is sluggish.
