Always thought there was a player in him. He's got the right attitude, all he needed was a bit of coaching to get up and down the flanks at the right times.
Another good game, good defensively, really active offensively, constantly on the move, constantly passing the ball around, started the action with a good pass which resulted in our goal.
After three good games...the United way.
I'm huge fan, but a bit bigger pattern of good performances is needed to judge his quality.

I feel like he should be the one playing that inverted fullback role, controlling build up etc with the LB bombing forwards. Basically the same role as Walker for City.

He'll make a lot more runs into the box with Antony as Antony likes receiving the ball closer to the touchline than drift infield.
He released pressure regularly yesterday with his progressive passing. Good to see. He needs to work on his final ball and also try and avoid picking up early yellow cards due to getting caught.

I wrote Dalot off before he went to Milan on loan. I wrote him off again midway through the Rangnick era. I hope he keeps proving me wrong.
What a turnaround. Goes to show players develop at different speeds. His potential seems to be being realised. Either great work by ETH and his coaching staff or natural development of the player or both. Either way, lovely to see him playing well and evidence that maybe not all of our signings have been a waste.
I don't think writing a player off after four years can be considered easy or quick. After that amount of time I think its acceptable for fans to form an opinion.
He has been abysmal for large periods as well. Not just a case of a young player finding his feet.
Much better this season but maybe don't be so quick to decide he's now good enough. Right now with a new manager, a few new players, he's pumped up to the max. Going at it 100%. That likely won't last though so I'd say let's see how he goes after this initial enthusiasm dies down a bit.
Aye, it tends to be forgotten how little senior football he actually played early in his career. Under 10 appearances for Porto, then his first two seasons here were blighted with injuries, especially the second season. I'm still quite hopeful he'll be good enough for us as a first-choice RB.
Really good again but needs to cut out these early yellows. 3 in 3 now and it will bite us in the arse eventually.
Honestly super happy that he's doing well. He's still really young so there's going to be a few games where he's not at his best, but I do think he's worth sticking with.

He's got ability. We bought him as a talented 19 year old and then gave up on developing him. Moronic management
Always backed him, as unpopular as it’s been, mainly due to the fact he actually had some technical ability which is great base to build off. Just needed the right manager and some actual game time. Defence has come leaps and bounds as it does with experience. His attacking should do the same once he links up with Antony.

Best fullback on the pitch yesterday both defensively and offensively. If he keeps this up he will be one of the best in the league. But as usual with the majority of our talented players its a matter of consistency and mentality.
If he keeps improving that’s 50m minimum saved.
His technique is very good and the attitude was always there but the improvement in his passing and positioning is obvious, he’s been very good.

Good attitude and a lot of talent on top of it. The issue with him has always been his defensive positioning. I guess more confidence and also having 2 super good central defenders help a lot. Casemiro will help even more once he becomes a regular. I hope we stick with him because he is a real talent in the final 3ed.

My only problem with him is sometimes he commits himself to tackle leaving open space and the player just turns around him leaving him behind. That's where Dalot is forced to commit professional foul and end up cautioned.
Enormous season for him this is. There are a lot of good tools in his game, and if he can out them together, he can become a brilliant right back I think. He’s a footballer, first and foremost, and he is someone who can link at any phase of the pitch from back to front. In fact, he’s probably best in the middle third, and needs to improve at either end if anything - but I think the tools are there.
He’s also brilliant in the air, certainly from a defensive point, which is very helpful to us. He wins a lot of headers and clears a lot in the air. Still susceptible 1v1 though.

He's definitely improving. I was hugely unconvinced as recently as summer but seemingly ten hag sees something,as did mourinho, and he's been good since Brentford. Like all the others, needs to do it for sustained spell
His pass was the goal, the next 3 actions were pretty simple after taking half the Leicester team out of the game with the pass.
Think this is where Casemiro will help him to understand positional awareness and to be able to think about how to better anticipate where the ball will move when out of possession. It seems like he's been around the block for us but in reality he's only 23.

Outside of the yellow that was of his own making, a top level performance from him. I've always thought he was a bit soft in his defending which is why he couldn't be relied on as a starting RB for us. However, something seems to have changed since minute one from the Liverpool game. Maybe it's the Martinez factor where there is a real desire for no nonsense defending. Winning that goal kick and then celebrating it with passion, that just helps elevate the entire backline to thinking - "You shall not pass".
He'll need to now learn though it can't be always with the aggressive tackle/action - has given away some needless fouls but, the harder part was becoming that defend at all costs attitude all the time.

I think that's down to inexperience, Malacia also makes similar mistakes.
Wasn't confident that he'll cut it here but he's done really well the last 3 games and it's good to see. His battle with Martinelli on Sunday will be a big test, especially when he has possession, Martinelli's press is relentless. Let's hope he does well because if he can keep that side quiet we have a huge chance of winning the game.
Hes worked for him and fair play to him. Absolutely loved the reaction to winning a goal kick and denying Leicester near the end.

Too bad he wasted 3 seasons learning nothing. Hopefully it's not too late.
He had a nice loan spell at AC Milan, where he showed his ability. The past few seasons have been part of his development, as he didn't have many senior appearances at Porto before moving to United. He's always had the baseline technical skills, which continues to develop and improve. He's at an age now (turned 23 in March) where his body will begin to get stronger and mature as he enters his mid-20s. It's all about repetition and experience now, to supplement his technical skills, which are good. His final ball can be sloppy and touch a bit loose now and then.
