Scandalous refereeing at Stamford Bridge. Sure these referees have to be held to account somehow? That was beyond bad.

Feels like a huge loss for Forest. Need to beat Leeds next week surely. Bournemouth being on 7 points is probably the best they could ask for considering who they've played so far.

We all love United
Was it like last season that De Gea laid on the ground and Arsenal went on to score after that into an empty net? And that goal was actually given

Dreadful game for 70 minutes but pretty entertaining in the end.

If Kepa can't get a game after that he may as well give up.

Dodgy decisions in favor for Chelsea and fortunate bounces for them as well, to scrap out a win.

Fabianski doing who knows what for the first goal and Cornet being twice denied by the post them VAR.

Who else was available for the same price/mid-20s that will be happy being a 2nd striker behind DCL and scores 8-10 PL games a season?
My bad. I forgot you had DCL. Your attack looks horrible though.

Damn all our top 4 rivals winning today.

pre-2000s: Football players fly in with studs first and a knife to the back, shrug it off
2022: Any contact is MASSIVE MASSIVE PAIN.

Mendy has been a real problem. What if they hadn’t pulled that back? It wasn’t an immediate tap in, he could’ve got up to try and regroup. If your a goalie and you roll around on the ground while a player gets possession of the ball in your box… you better have cracked ribs or something… which he obviously doesn’t.

Starting to think the KepaIN people might be right.

feel a little bad for West Ham, although their goal scorer should have been off for his head lock* on Silva, so not bad enough to turn down the points.

It's crazy, that you can score a completely legal goal in football and then refs can just decide it on their own, if it counts or not.

VAR was supposed to fix this shit but instead it's become worse. What the feck is going on with this league?

Just saw the disallowed goal, what in the fecking hell is this...I thought this year some more contact was allowed? Refs still inconsistent as feck.

I think that’s the biggest issue. Consistency.

I’m not sure why it’s so difficult to achieve amongst a professional body which meets regularly to discuss these things.

The only thing they are actually consistent at is being inconsistent. Quite impressive in that respect.

If, to the letter of the law, that is a "foul" on Mendy by Bowen, then the rules are fecking stupid and need to be changed. Bowen hasn't impeded him in the slightest.

The referees are awful. VAR is a tool, it is not a self conscious entity. If VAR is being used by terrible referees, then terrible decisions will be made. The PL refs have been the worst around for a long time.
