"Martial...He's isolated Skrtel here..."
Trying to think about this as fairly as possible, if Hag had told him something like "you'll coming be on with 25 mins to go" and then ignored him until minute 89, he's kinda justified in being pissed off, right?
No, but I doubt that's what happened. Sancho easily could have come off earlier and Rashford moved to the wing after going 2-0 up to give us that outlet for countering the last 20 minutes.

What a great decision that was to keep him at the club instead of maybe using his obscene wages to get someone else in. Literally everyone could have seen it coming except our club heads.

There's a lot of reasons to believe we were more than willing to let him go but no club worthy of his inflated ego would take him.

Ronaldo certainly is old enough to know that gameplans can change. Sometimes a player stands next to the 4th official to come on only to be called back and not come on at all.

Ronaldo can be annoyed at it but there is no excuse for walking out.

He might have felt angry but demonstrating it so openly was a big mistake.

Only way I can see that he survives this is by apologizing and just putting up with things until January. He needs games for the World cup and we need players for the midweek games. It's all very sad to witness though. Why do quite a few United legends bow out of the club so badly? Keane, RVN, Stam, etc.

Not sure I believe that so I'll reserve judgement until such a point ETH speaks.

Who offered to take him and also take his wage?

To sell a player you need three things. A club willing to sell, a club willing to buy and a the player wanting to go to that club that is willing to buy him.

The only clubs wanting Ronaldo were clubs from the middle east. No serious club in the CL wanted him and those are the clubs that he wants.

We all love United
I don't like Ronaldo now as a player but I think too much of a meal has been made out of this because he's a huge name. Would we all be bothered if it was Elanga instead who did this? I do agree Ronaldo knew what he was doing right there so let's just ignore his pathetic actions and praise the team deservedly instead. He has got exactly what he wanted right now judging the reactions from the media and the fan forums

Ten Hag doesn't strike me as the kind of guy to promise 25 minutes when he has no idea what the game will demand. He's consistently tried to do the right thing for the whole group and pandering hasn't been a factor.

If that did happen and he thought that means he'll come on with 25 mins to go no matter the state of the match, he's an idiot.

It would be a big deal if he wasn't a huge name. What he did is rare and generally seen as extremely unprofessional.

You can be pissed off but you can't say no and leave. Nobody has a right to play

I don't understand the whole "We shouldn't talk about this , we should talk about the team performance" point?

Can't you talk about both?

It's not like (most) posters have a finite amount of posts and even if they do they aren't forced to post here?

Plenty of clubs wanted him, the glazers wouldn't sell because then they would have to replace him

Club statement from the App

Cristiano Ronaldo will not be part of the Manchester United squad for this Saturday’s Premier League game against Chelsea.

The rest of the squad is fully focused on preparing for that fixture.

Tears in my eyes, the club is finally learning. That's what backing the manager is

What a fecking shit show.
United just won a big match and Ten Hag has to deal with this instead of celebrating and preparing for next match.

I dont care how many shirts did the club sold but this is not worth it.
