Whether we like it or not, selling the naming of OT will happen.

I DESPISE the Glazers, however, they have not sold the namong rights so far, after 17 years. Now, that could be due to a number of reasons, but they haven't done it.

But if we do want to upgrade Old Trafford, and the surrounding land around it, selling the naming rights will make a lot of sense, however much we don't want it to happen.

There was $160 million dropped for upgrades beginning in 2016, granted part of the upgrades were due to the then-upcoming Superb Owl. That said, RJS is definitely showing its age having opened in 1998.

There also was an indoor practice facility finally built across the street at One Buc Place in 2017, something that was badly needed for decades. Gruden’s team used to have to practice in a parking garage during the SB season in 2002.

Yeah the new Bernabeu looks great but how much debt are Real taking on to facilitate it?

I don't think they have that much left to spend at all. I think they want an external investment to come in and to pay them a certain amount on money and get a certain amount of share of the club in which they will hopefully spend on the club. Whether that will happen or not remains to be seen.

I don't spend too much time speculating on the Glazers motivations towards Manchester United because by this stage I think we can all safely assume what their motivations are and what they want.

They want their yearly dividends and they want lump sums of cash every few years through share sales while spending as little as possible.

So once we accept that then we know that significant redevelopment of OT isn't likely with them in charge.

As much as it pains me to say it. Knock it down & build a new one. Spurs have best stadium in the country & Everton’s new stadium looks great too. We are getting lost & left behind.
