We need somebody who can actually run to get up next to Moore. Not sure how Page hasn't figured this one out after the USA game.

One of Ramsey or Wilson out, James or Johnson on.

Can only assume the plan is to put Brennan Johnson and Dan James on around hour mark.

Wales just don't have much quality in their first 11 now Bale and Ramsey have massively declined.
Another case of 'experience/favouritism' over form/quality.

Ramsey especially looks absolutely shot these days.

Remember fellow Caf'ers. This is not the Champions League or the Premier League. This is the World Cup. It's a party where you come to see all the countries of the world in all their shapes and sizes trying to play the best football they can in the blistering heat. You will not get gourmet football here until the knockout stages or if Brazil is playing. Stop complaining. If it's so bad go and watch re-runs of the CL or wait for Spain -Germany
Thank you! Go Iran!

Yeah, definitely. Ramsey is more finished than Bale is. Mostly looked woeful even in the Scottish league last year.

I think he's very happy with his big Juve payday and has completely checked out since.

England will school Wales with how easy it is to break through their midfield and get into 1 v 1s against their backline.

10 years ago if you said that about an Asian team it would be seen as a compliment.
They're improving for sure. I think Japan in particular has a chance to create a really talented team within the next 50 years or so.

I guess Iran could take a draw and fancy they could beat the USA and bank on England beating both USA and Wales. Wales absolutely need to win though.

Think all the constant muscle injuries over last 3-4 years has reduced his impact. Watch euro 2016 highlights and he was constantly running through and linking up well with the forwards, simply can't do that now and beyond a nice pass he was never that good in deeper positions when played there for Arsenal.

Still only 31 aswell but certainly plays like a 35-36 year old midfielder who can't run much anymore.

A draw suits England best if they do the business against USA tonight. Also means Wales need a win against us in their final game to qualify.

I've watched Wales a lot over the years and Page is always the same, terribly overrated manager repeatedly bailed out by Bale.

You have to play 4-3-3 with this Wales team. Nico Williams has been binned by Forest from starting as wingback, he's just not that good. Get Dan James on and running in behind, even Johnson would do.

Nah, Japan and S Korea have been good for a while. And Wales is the worst European team here, and at least Ukr and Hun are better than them now that Ramsey and Bale are useless.

0-0 half time was an easy bet
Both teams need to attack second half so might make the match better

Draw is a fair result. I don’t know but it just seems like Wales have underperformed in this World Cup. Need a win here otherwise it’s curtains as I can’t see them getting anything against England.

Behind the right goal post as "Whiteside shoots!"

Yup, said same thing a page ago.

if we lose this we’re out. If we draw, likely out too.

Not saying go all out but feck me, Page needs to realise where he is and how group will likely unfold. Was worried when saw last night’s interview and he mentioned he was loyal… knew Ramsey would be in. Combined with cautious approach = this pile of crap we’re watching.

I don't think anybody does rate him, do they? He's a League One manager who has come in to do a job after the Giggs situation.

I'd much prefer it if we'd have thanked him for his service and got an actual manager of some kind in after it was obvious Giggs wasn't coming back, but results weren't too bad so it wasn't going to happen.

I think that might be a fun game actually. I'll probably skip the LVG snooze ball after though.
I remember the days that we were everyones favorite 2nd team, because our football was pretty :(

Yeah I've no idea why the commentators keep saying it's must win for both sides. Iran could kick the can down the road to when they face USA, whereas this is must win for Wales you'd imagine.
