But their subs can do a job as well, and they have the whole stadium behind them. France also looked quite poor against England despite the win. This world cup has been such a toss-up that I'm not confident of anything at this point.

Don't discount Morocco. Portugal looked more convincing against a Swiss side that isn't so bad.

Hard to be good when 2-4 players are making sure you can't do anything when you have the ball. I don't know if Morocco will try the same tactic, but I expect France to deal with it better.
The attention Mbappe brings helps Griezmann a lot as well, but no doubt he's been fantastic and always turns up for France.
A fair point but unfortunately these awards mostly go to the attackers I believe. Always thought Mascherano had a better tournament in 2014 than Messi but Messi won it.

Want Morocco to win it, as unlikely as it may seem. But a Messi WC triumph to add to PR37 punching the sky and crying as he sits on the bench against the mighty Al-Nassr FC would be the icing on the cake.

Well France colonised Morocco but the majority of Morocco's starting 11 were born/play their football in France so who knows. The crowds will definitely be heated, especially the Moroccans who will probably boo France's national anthem....

Anyone but Argentina is what I am rooting for. Argentina my least favourite international side and Barcelona my most despised club side. Also dislike the tax evader and his crazy **** of fans. Would love to see Morocco or Croatia as first time winners. If not, France will do.
