What a top Red. Few remember Buttner let alone using his pic as a screensaver. His phone screen saver is of Buttner with the PL trophy.

Scored a wonder goal taking it past about 5 players. What a top Red. Few remember Buttner let alone using his pic as a screensaver.
Believe it or not something similar happened with inter. Thohir bought inter from moratti the latter being a big fan of the club. Many interisti were worried about him not being a fan as they were used with the owner going nearly bankrupt to bankroll them. Thus some journalist asked him who was the player who impressed him the most in the past few years. Thohir came up with Nicola Ventola ie a squad player who never really made a huge mark at the club. It would like united's new owners naming o'shea or Fletcher as the player who impressed him the most during the SAF's administrationWhat a top Red. Your only real MUFC if you had a poster of Giuliano Maiorana on your wall.Believe it or not something similar happened with inter. Danny Drinkwater's on TOTD?
Interesting to hear Mitten talk about interest in Bellingham and De Jong in Athletic article. Does he know something about us getting rich owners.
I am not itk but I doubt that our new owners will be on doleInteresting to hear Mitten talk about interest in Bellingham and De Jong in Athletic article. Does he know something about us getting rich owners.
Insane question. Of course I would. Most people wouldIf Amazon/Apple buy Liverpool, would you honestly carry on buying their products?
Very true but there are different levels of richnessI am not itk but I doubt that our new owners will be on dole
Waa going to say that if we start spending money in January, they've found a buyer, either for a stake or whole sale. The Glazers would never sanction spending if they can't take a dividend.Interesting to hear Mitten talk about interest in Bellingham and De Jong in Athletic article. Does he know something about us getting rich owners.
Not necessarily, they can load the club with debt like Bohely has done at Chelsea.Very true but there are different levels of richness
Raine can want doesn't meam they get it. The debt will be priced in.
Whoever will buy Manchester United will be spending an eye watering 5B-7B. He'll buy a brand that is in the decline and with sponsorships jumping ship. The squad struggles to make it to top 4 and that despite United is throwing around 200m per year at it in terms of salaries. We have players who are unsuited for the modern game (AWB, Maguire etc), others who can't even play football (Jones, Greenwood etc) and others who seem to need a safe space. On top of that there's a stadium and training facilities that are in a sorry state. That's another 1BVery true but there are different levels of richness
I believe that some debt will be priced in but other debt will not. For example the new owners shouldn't be expected to saddle the debt created by the Glazers to buy the club. However they would probably be expected to pay the yearly instalments we have with Dortmund for Sancho. Jadon is a United 'asset' not a Glazer one. He won't leave with them.Raine can want doesn't meam they get it. The debt will be priced in.
Yeah, the principle debt should be catered into the price of the club. The rest of the debt is the clubs debt.I believe that some debt will be priced in but other debt will not. I can't see the Glazers taking on any debt on 'assets' that will remain at the club after their departure.Yeah, the principle debt should be catered into the price of the club. The rest of the debt is the clubs debt.
This is why due diligence is dome beforehand, to understand what the new owners are actually taking on.
Why would any football reporter know anything about the takeover? Fecking Sky News broke the story and apparently it’s being going on for months before thenInteresting to hear Mitten talk about interest in Bellingham and De Jong in Athletic article. Does he know something about us getting rich owners.
Because Mitten know's a lot of people at the club and close to the club. He's been United's go to for 25 years. Why would any football reporter know anything about the takeover? Fecking Sky News broke the story and apparently it’s being going on for months before then
We’d be after those players regardless.Interesting to hear Mitten talk about interest in Bellingham and De Jong in Athletic article. Does he know something about us getting rich owners.
Not in our current financial situation. We’d be after those players regardless.
More Yanks and more debt.Going to be lots of tears when the new owner turns out to be very underwhelming.
That’s my bet. And worse case scenario is they have to go through their own Woodward cycle before they realise how a football club is actually supposed to be run.More Yanks and more debt.
That's what people have been saying for 18 years. The weakest argument against the Glazer's has always been this insistence that we had no money for buying new players hoping that nobody noticed how much money we were throwing (recklessly at times) at buying new playersNot in our current financial situation.
the rumours were flying back in the summer thoughWhy would any football reporter know anything about the takeover? Fecking Sky News broke the story and apparently it’s being going on for months before then
Exactly. The principal debt is really theirs, which they so kindly bestowed on us.I can't see the Glazers taking on any debt on 'assets' that will remain at the club after their departure.
I'm not sure what you mean by this?Exactly. The principal debt is really theirs, which they so kindly bestowed on us.
But debt taken out for player transfers, operational goods, etc, will all be the new owners debt.
The leveraged buyout debt that they gave us.I'm not sure what you mean by this?
the entire debt will be the responsibility of the new owners
I know but just wondering why you're drawing a distinction on which debt is theirs? The leveraged buyout debt that they gave us.
Is this true? Can you explain how Bohely has done this? Not necessarily, they can load the club with debt like Bohely has done at Chelsea.
Yeah, back in the summer he was talking about a breakdown between the siblings with the two wanting to stay and the rest wanting to sell. Which has turned out to be completely accurate.the rumours were flying back in the summer though
I remember on one of those shows with Nev and Carra there was a journalist and they asked him about the rumours back then and he said from what he was hearing he thought there was substance to it this time
For transfers, not Glazers who are selling the club? Even then Mitten hasn’t been breaking the stories he used toBecause Mitten know's a lot of people at the club and close to the club. He's been United's go to for 25 years.
Not necessarily at all.I know but just wondering why you're drawing a distinction on which debt is theirs?
all the debt is the clubs (and will be the new owners)
Wasn’t that down to the Glazers selling 8 percent of shares last year and not some inside news?the rumours were flying back in the summer though
I remember on one of those shows with Nev and Carra there was a journalist and they asked him about the rumours back then and he said from what he was hearing he thought there was substance to it this time
Unless the Glazers have to settle a certain debt with the money from the sale that the new owners dont want to be liable for.I know but just wondering why you're drawing a distinction on which debt is theirs?
all the debt is the clubs (and will be the new owners)
how do you mean? Not necessarily at all.
Yeah, exactly. The principle debt has nothing to do with Manchester United the club. It's the owners LBO debt. Any new owner would want that to be gone when paying for the club.Unless the Glazers have to settle a certain debt with the money from the sale that the new owners dont want to be liable for.
If the Glazers invested everything back into the club again then we would be debt free.
What's to say the banks would give the new owners the credit for the debt owed?how do you mean?
