We should focus on the football positives and all the surrounding negatives that come from a corrupt organisation allowing a World Cup to be held under these circumstances.

Focusing on the positives, ignoring the negatives and moving on is what scumbags like Infantino want.
Sully mate, let it go. Cmon United. Let’s kill all before us. Can’t wait.

Hopefully he got a picture without it too, but honestly... the picture with the player of the tournament and kissing the WC is just as iconic for me.

Qatar spending the whole tournament saying “hey, don’t force your culture onto us!!” and then at the very last minute forcing Messi to wear a ridiculously large Qatar robe over his National shirt for the iconic money shot is a pretty fitting feck you to anyone who took any of this shit in remotely good faith tbh.

Well maybe Messi is the one who wanted to wear it :wenger: ?

 Amazing image of the 2nd best player of the tournament.

The cretin stood next to him visibly uncomfortable, staring at Emi’s ‘glove cock’!

You can literally see the repression and confusion all over him
You are showing your true colours on this thread. Why dont you just stop sidestepping and say out loud how you hate Muslims.

I thought he pulled it off, to be fair.

I hate corrupt human rights abusers and homophobic regimes who cowardly censor rainbows and then try and force their culture down the worlds throat.

I’ve ended friendships with long term friends due to their Islamophobia.
 Pot, kettle and black. The only ones trying to force their way of thinking were certain European nations.

In itself the robe isn't an issue. But in the context of the narrative around the tournament it's as sportswashy as sportswashing gets.

Also note the the French President and Qatari Emir on stage beside the gurning Infantino, no doubt helping him keep those pesky politics out of football.

So are you Islamophobic then? Sounds like one.

Ironically I think I think it’ll backfire on them. It helped people remember the massive sports washing project going on when it was finally absolutely overshadowed by the product on the pitch.
Next WC a sombrero, cowboy or Mountie outfit?

It won't ruin any iconic images. This will be the image everyone remembers...

But it's annoying that it was them trying to force themselves into a moment.
