He wasn't in the right area at the right time for the play. If you can't understand that it's your own lack of football knowledge.

My lack of understanding of Football tells me a few things, he was in the right area(in the box and slightly behind Rashford), which is also not to be confused with the perfect spot. And the perfect spot is rarely a thing in Football which is why we don't see 15 goals per game. So unlike some I wouldn't ask where a player was when he was in frame and not in a position that demand any sort of particular criticism.
