What episode was this? Ive just finished season 2 and cant remember it all
It was the final episode of season 2. Can't remember if it was the final scene or post-credits but it was definitely in that episode.

Pretty sure it's the last scene of Season 2. You probably stopped if before seeing it. I was watching it in bed in the middle of the night and it definitely sent a chill down the spine.

Most be post credits, i thought the last scene was Holden wiping the blood of his shirt

Funnily enough, while the characters' peers inevitably ask "What's *Killer X* really like?" and so on, for me Holden is the most psychologically interesting character in the show. Deliberately or not - on the part of the show's creators - there's a Will Graham vibe about him; Holden could easily be 'turned', I think, and this troubles him even if only subconsciously.
I completely agree with this. I was wondering if Holden was a sociopath but just one who took a different route to the murderous ones. He has the fantasy life that he can understand every serial killer and somehow use this knowledge to predict and solve live crimes but he gets very close to the edge sometimes and can't step back. His panic attack in series one and some of his actions like going to see the Atlanta mothers for kudos despite not understanding that he hadn't done anything to give them closure points in a way to a lack of empathy on his part.

On an unrelated point Bill is exactly how I pictured Earl Swagger from the Stephen Hunter books.

On season 2 now. The portrayal of the serial killers has been brilliant so far. Ed Kemper is so fascinating and Son of Sam looks so alike to the original too.

I enjoyed season 1 but I thought season 2 was boring as feck. Can't say I'll miss it.

Kind of unexpected but could have seen it coming. Fincher is too good and both the main characters would be getting movie deals as well. They might reboot it a few years down the line but it sucks as this and Narcos are the reasons I end up coming back to Netflix from HBO.

I’ll miss it. Yes the second season was weak - but still enjoyable.
Not a patch on the first season which was fantastic

a shame

i assume it isn't very popular unfortunately, too slow paced for most. One of the best shows on Netflix in recent years
I think season 2 was better! Other than the story about the kid.

Absolute BS it will be ending, genuinely gutted about this.

I have no preference between the seasons. The first was exciting because it was new, but i liked the second just as much.

Worse shows get more seasons, but are just more popular. I was expecting another season as well

I enjoyed it and I'll watch season 3 if it is made but won't care that badly if it doesn't return.

I thought s1 was great, s2 was at the very least good. It's a shame it got canceled, but not the biggest surprise in the world given its subtle nature.

Feck that’s disappointing. Felt they were building towards Dennis Rader really well. Could’ve been a heck of a storyline.

The least Netflix could do is buy a couple of James Corden shows, so they'd finally get to cancel something that actually deserves it.

Can’t really blame Netflix for this, I think they cancelled it because Fincher, who was the de facto showrunner, wanted to focus on other projects. And without him it would’ve been shit anyway.

Hes basically saying otherwise - that netflix said it didnt pull in enough viewers for the cost.
