Is it time to burst Ten Hag’s bubble?

The so called scouts here sucks.

Wanted LvG, wanted Jose, wanted Ralf, wanted many of the shit players we signed over the years.

Redcafe is great but there's a reason noone here is a pundit.

We really don't need to start laying into Ten Hag. He's the best thing about United this season

Listen, its a horrific result, against a bitter rival.
Let people express their emotions as long as they follow the forum’s guidelines.
If people are calling for the manager’s head or think we’re as shit as ever been, I think they’re allowed to.

Its an atrocious and disgusting performance, it shouldn’t be acceptable even if Liverpool were peak Barca and United were in the conference.

How do you even overreact to a performance that will be remembered for decades and is a stain on this club and its history?

Hectic schedule was ignored was too long by too many. Not after that today which was a direct result. Big investment required in the summer and the days of trying to make up the numbers with mediocre players on loan must stop that equals the Glazers leaving this club.

Though I think the players deserve the majority of the blame today, ETH is going to have take some of the stick too. It’s nothing personal, it’s the nature the game, and when you lose in that manner, there’s going to be questions asked and there is going to be a lot of stick.

When the dust has settled, the frustrations will rightly be directed at the players. ETH got stuff wrong today, but it was the players poor temperament and attitude which cost us.

Maybe it's best if we liquidate the club and round up Sir Matt's surviving relatives and kick their cats.

That's his biggest test, and probably a major turning point for his era here. How he handles such loss will say a lot about his United's team.

If we bounce back well and good and finished the season strongly, it'll be an indication his team wasn't built on false dawns and is mentally strong enough to keep going even after such embarrassing. Will be an indication the current team is built on strong foundations.

Well, if we end up collapsing completely and fecking the entire season up..I honestly don't want to think what will happen in such case. Let's not talk about that now.

Some people should try to boil down a bit before entering this place with all that frustrated energy still to burn. Manager and Players didn't show up today. No reason to exclude anything from responsibility. But all that goes further than that, should be delayed until the temper has lost its edge a little more.

Not time to burst his bubble, but time to acknowledge that we can’t keep playing 75% of the same players.
We are currently playing 3 games in a seven day period until we either get knocked out out the FA Cup or Europa.
We don’t have the squad depth to continue and still pull positive results.

Nothing but a good public fogging will do. String him up in Wings and let LVG treat him to some good ol’ fashioned Dutch masochism whilst Jose shouts ‘heritage’ at him from across the room

Bit too soon right to be so negative about Ten Hag?

He won 16 of the last 21 games since the world cup. He had the highest win rate of any United manager ever before this game. We just won a cup last week and beat Barcelona in the Europa League.

We are not good enough yet, some players don’t perform as we want and this result today is really really really embarrassing. But Ten Hag worked wonders in 7 or 8 months and performed wonders with players we all thought were really shit, none of us thought we would be in such a good position at this time of the year before the game today. Lets give it some time, focus on finishing top 4, FA cup and Europa League. Next year we should challenge for the league.

Agreed, I logged on here ready to explode. ETH has been phenomenal, he made errors today, maybe even more than the team. Some glaring errors tactically from the off, it was obvious given the occasion and opposing players how to go at it from the off in my opinion. Liverpool deserved to win but a 7-0 was beyond lucky. I have ultimate faith in Hag to do what needs to be done to set the squad straight, take responsibility where required and move forward from this

I don't give a feck if it is 12-0, it is one fecking game after big progress and people immediately start doubting everyone and everything.
Pretty sure this is a troll thread.

We've all been really positive about Man Utd's results, sure this is really bad, but nothing is going to change our opinion on ETH until the end of the season.

Cheers mate, yes I feel utterly empty after that but a deep breath, we outplayed Barce and won the league cup in the last 2 weeks. Liverpool were lucky today, extremely.
Top 4 and a cup this season was always my hope and I feel we are going to achieve it. We have a great mentality in the squad to bounce back, we are lucky the next game is European looking forward to beating Betis :)

Incredibly difficult to explain what happened today, just lost our discipline which is very frustrating considering the experience in the team and the comfortable first half up until their goal.

It'll take a bit to get over it but ETH has been excellent so far and he won't of liked a lot of what he seen today and I have every faith in him he'll fix it.

I don't have a problem with Wout like some do, but him as a 10 and Bruno on the left was an interesting decision today, especially when we saw the difference when every player was playing in their best positions against Newcastle and Barca in the second half.

Horrible result. Tough one to swallow, and will certainly linger for a long while, but we must not forget how far we've come this season.

Won the Carabao Cup
Quarter Finals of the FA Cup
3rd in the PL
Round of 16 in Europa

If someone said this is what our season would look like come March, I'd have bitten their hand off.

Reactionary thread

We should be talking about who we want to replace him now

EDIT - also I can't see any Casemiro/Rashford out threads either. Lunacy

I thought when Ten Hag came in it would get worse before it got better, but it got better so quickly. It's a dark day, but it is one result and three points.

See where we are in May and decide how much Ten Hag has done for United. Then let him continue.

I imagine a United version of Troops is somewhere screaming sarcastically "TRUST THE PROCESS!"

Meh, I've seen people turning on SAF in the 2000s so this is nothing new. I bet there were in the 90s too, but there was no online forum back then.

Still our best manager in the post-Fergie era but he really needs to get back to playing players in their correct positions. The quality of our play has been regressing and it has coincided with too many players playing out of position. Playing someone as limited as Weghorst at 10 has been shocking from the first day it was tried and it finally caught up with us today. Rashford, Bruno, Weghorst are all out of position regularly these days. He simply needs to go back to basics. Rashford wide left, Bruno through the middle, Sancho/Garnacho wide right. No more experiments.

He also needs to focus on significantly improving the technical level of this team in the summer. Every single player we sign in the summer needs to be excellent on the ball. That is what helps teams like City and now Arsenal control big games. They have so many players who are very comfortable on the ball. Only players we have who are comfortable on the ball are Martinez and Eriksen. Not close to good enough.

This isn’t a “good kick up the arse” this is a grounds for sacking, Guardiola and Klopp have never lost 7-0 because they’re actual good managers.
Guardiolas lost 4-0 a few times as has Klopp who lost 7-2.
