The Caf's Ezza.
I think Enrique might be overrated, he hasn't managed at the top level since 2017 and he's whelmed as Spain manager.
If we don't get top 4 this season, after spending £200+ this summer gone, I'd be concerned if I were him. There's managers like Enrique on the market and potentially a new owner coming in. Nothing is certain.ETH will be backed, with players coming in the summer we can be a proper team.
He would be a bad choice for Chelsea manager IMO.I think Enrique might be overrated, he hasn't managed at the top level since 2017 and he's whelmed as Spain manager.
There is no clear choice this time. There are good reasons to not want each of the managers we're linked with. It's why I don't see any point in rushing into the decision. Let this Bruno bloke handle the rest of the season while the sporting directors do the work to try and find the best fit.He would be a bad choice for Chelsea manager IMO.
He had issues getting Spain to score. Chelsea's primary problem is they can't score.
Ffs lads, I was joking !!!!!Lampard for even bigger laughs
Yeah but you gave him time no other club on the planet would have given him. Likewise promoting players like Elanga and Blackett to name an obvious pair who have/had no place in top flight football let alone the biggest club in the country. No the problem there was we had a shite manager, who still can’t get a job.
Our club DNA is why people like Jose Mourinho failed and will always fail here.
He admitted in an interview part of the reason he's given up coaching was seeing how much better at the job Shakespeare and the other coach you had (who's name I can't remember) was.Isn't Terry qualified enough to do a caretaker spell?
He was our number two for two years and now involved in Chelsea's academy so surprised he hasn't been given the opportunity.

What‘s that got to do with us having crap managers? You think the club told Them to play Elanga and Blackett. Who was used due to injuries.Yeah but you gave him time no other club on the planet would have given him. Because we're talking about the club DNA and isn't one of yours to give managers time? Something that clearly backfired in that instant (ironically Ten Hag himself could have probably been got if you didn't give Ole the full time gig) which means following it when it goes against all logic isn't a good thing is the point i'm making. What‘s that got to do with us having crap managers? Sounds like you’re being pedantic. We sacked David Moyes before completing his first season. Don’t get more Chelsea DNA than that. SAF was an anomaly.Because we're talking about the club DNA and isn't one of yours to give managers time? I could be wrong but didn't Blackett play a lot of games that season? I remember the debut against Swansea and his OG vs Arsenal and i swear i heard his name a lot inbetween, apologies if wrong.
A late relegation push?
He already became one surely?!I have a feeling Boehly is going to become something of an ‘entertaining’ owner in the PL…
If I'm Chelsea, I'm taking Enrique over Nagelsmann every day of the week. The Spaniard plays with a system akin to Pep, Arteta or ten Hag's preferred style and sticks to it 90% of the time, like he should. Nagelsmann, on the other hand, switches things up almost every week, just like Potter. This basically leads to their clubs not being able to form a clear strategy regarding squad building and transfers, since they aren't signing players suitable for a certain system. As an oppo fan, would be happy with Enrique. His golden period came came with MSN trident, hell even Xavi, Iniesta, Busquets were there.
You’re asking the wrong question. It’s not who can we sell. It’s how much we can recoup. Clubs know we need to shift players on, they’ll come and low ball us for sure but there’s going to be offers. The reality chelsea have right now is that not a single manager in the world can keep that whole squad happy. With everyone fit and Nkunku there next season, I would put their best XI as
Kepa
James
Fofana
T. Silva
Chilwell
Kante
Fernandez
Kovacic
Sterling
Nkunku
Felix Loan expires
Which means you would be leaving out
Mendy wants to leave (apparently)
Cucurella fine as back up
Badiashile
Chalobah sell
Koulibaly sell
Mount seems more apparent he will be sold
Zakaria gone - loan expires
Loftus-Cheek sell
Chukwuemeka possible loan - lack of minutes
Pulisic sold
Mudryk
Madueke
Havertz sell
Fofana loaned out - always the plan
Which of these players can they even sell?
It's such a random collection of players, whoever comes in is going to have to be ruthless.

Are you Todd Boehly?Lampard for even bigger laughs
How much would you expect to fetch for these? enough to make up not qualifying for the CL (assuming you dont win it)You’re asking the wrong question. It’s not who can we sell. There’s already interest in Mount and he seems like his head is already gone. Keep one of RLC or Chuke, keep one of Chalobah or Kouli.
In terms of FFP we are sitting on a potential goldmine with Chalobah, RLC, Gallagher and Mount because they’re academy products and as such 100% of their sale goes to profit.
Yes. But what about after that? Unless you keep producing academy products for whom you can get millions. How likely is that? You’re asking the wrong question. It’s not who can we sell. That is literally what happened with RDM. He was given the job full time and sacked 4 months later. So, let's imagine for a moment that Lampard somehow finds the key to unlocking this team's potential, and they end up winning the CL or finishing the PL with 7 wins out of 9, say.... what happens then? It could end up being Boehly's Woodward/Ole moment.
