If we lose out to Liverpool by a 7 goal difference I am going to absolutely flip out

Be fecking typical if Chelsea somehow find some form and beat us.
Another game many think is a given that we'll win. It's the hardest of the 3 home games remaining, always was. Despite their league position they have quality players that could easily put a performance together on the day.

The hardest is Fulham mitrovic will be back and teams have been getting pay back on us

Leicester wont lose to Liverpool next week, the need something from the game to stay up.

I think we'll get something against West Ham tomorrow night as Moyes will want to rest players ahead of AZ Alkmaar on Thursday, after that we should really be able to win all our remaining games.
West Ham are pretty safe, they are 4 clear of the relegation zone with a far better goal difference and only really need to beat Leeds at home to stay up.
There's only 4 games left, West Ham don't have enough games left to get the points they need to just sacrifice home games by resting players or not take them seriously.

If West Ham don't pick up any more points they have to think they'll go down. They need points, they want safety guaranteed as soon as possible, and they'll be looking at this fragile United team as a completely winnable game. They're not going to take the attitude "well we'll just win next week or the week after instead", because no game is guaranteed.

Yeah, I'm the problem. Maybe my misery has something to do with us playing shit and dropping points every time we play away? There might just be a correlation there you know.

No, but it's 2/3 strikes against him in my opinion. Maybe that's the same for others or maybe some will want him gone if that happens, but regardless, if we do miss out we're going into next season on a downer and potential new owners so it might not matter what any of us want.
Well mate if you get miserable that easily over football then I dunno what to tell you. I'd hate to see how you'd react if we were having a season like Chelsea.

Some people's expectations must've been through the roof for this season if your not reasonably pleased with how this one has gone. Has there been issues? Sure, but I was expecting much worse in his first season after last season's shit show and all the false dawn's before that.

Even if we draw tomorrow we need 2 wins and 2 draws from our final 4. 3 of those games are home to bottom half teams and the only away is Bournemouth. We really should be making this lads. If we don’t in place of Liverpool any good feeling towards ETH will instantly go from pretty favourable to non existent.

Wait, people aren't actually worried about this are they? We'll make it easy.

I’d much rather beat city in the FA cup final than celebrate a 4th spot. The UEFA should start valuing the cup competitions to their worth, it is a big prize and it is the oldest football competition in the world. As long as the cup winner isn’t guaranteed a CL group stage spot it will not be valued the way it should.
It's nothing to do with UEFA. They give us X amount of European spots. It's up to us how they're dished out

Oh yes they definitely are, to the point where I'm actually worried about some of them mentally because of the way they go on, if it's not being totally depressed over scenario's that haven't even happened yet, then it's pure anger. Makes me wonder how these people function on a day to day basis with normal life problems.

9 points from 5 games isn’t going to be easy, our players are knackered.
We'll make it easy.

We'll beat Wolves, Bournemouth and Fulham. Probably West Ham and Chelsea too.

Also worth noting we don't have any fecking midweek games for ages now too.

I'll lose my rag when its all said and done if we don't make top 4, it's the people getting angry in anticipation of events that haven't even transpired which are baffling.

West Ham isn't a 'must win' at all. We can afford to lose to them and still make top 4.
We can, however the pressure mounts and currently I can only see this group of players bottling with Varane and Martinez out as it prevents one of most creative avenues, Luke shaw playing left back and dominate that side to free . Rashford, Garnaucho and Sancho.

It would have been a good game to draw if we had got 1 point at Brighton because 2 Wins and 3 draws is the same as 3 wins, so this is why it’s a must win, with a Cup final coming up we need to go after West Ham from the very first minute and use all 5 subs available.

I was called an idiot 4 or 5 weeks ago when I said Liverpool will get 71 points and I see Brighton Getting 68 and we are in a top four fight, if we only get 4 points from next 3 games which is what we got from last 3 games, that would mean we have to win the last two home games, so yes it’s a must win game tomorrow evening?

We’re not winning all 5 of those games, we’ll limp over with 3 wins at best and better pray Liverpool drop points.
So we'll struggle to get 9 points from West Ham, Wolves, Bournemouth, Chelsea and Fulham but have to resort to prayer for the mighty Liverpool to drop points against Leicester, Villa and Southampton?

Manchester United fans ladies and gentlemen.

As I said, we'll do it easy. And that doesn't change even if we drop points tomorrow.

Have you seen our recent form? Yes you’d have to pray because Liverpool’s opposition is shite, I don’t expect them to drop points against those 3.

If we don't finish top 4 then serious questions need to be asked of these players and the manager. It will be an absolute disaster.

I always had a hunch we'd get over the line but make a meal of it and it looks that's coming true. We don't do anything the easy way.

Our recent form? Yeh sure. We've won 4 of our last 6 Premier League games. Drawn 1. Lost 1.

You're being hysterical. We'll be fine.

Shocking how we've giving up all those points advantage we had, it seems we might lose out now.

Oh ok, I did not know that. I thought the UEFA decided that cup winners got a ticket for the group stage in the Europa league

only question is whether we will brick it or have the mentality needed to deal with the pressure. ultimately to get where we want to go, we have to have players who could pretty easily navigate this sort of situation.
