Big war in Europe! @Igor Drefljak and @altodevil vs @adexkola, @KirkDuyt, @V.O. and @Welsh Wonder. It's not an even fight and I suspect Igor is about to lose his last hold on the continent. We'll see what the consequences area for altod. If he's lucky he can bully Welsh Wonder enough to get out of the war before the swarm finishes with Igor.
Organic Potatoes and Eboue are bailing @altodevil out a bit here, attacking poor @Crackers to take his one colony, bringing Welsh Wonder into it. Oh yeah and @Vidyoyo has basically been ganged up on and most of Sweden is now just... Sweden. Vidyoyo himself is left with three provinces.

@BD has taken the Exploration idea, he wants to get out and experience new things (and maybe get away from Solius for a bit). Though first he has to make sure he doesn't lose against Kongo, who he attacked without having his army in place.
You could honestly probably do it, being allied to Solius and adexkola.
I guess knowledge of this exact part of Northern Brazil just spread, because suddenly @AnotherLondonManc, @KirkDuyt and @Solius are all colonizing right next to each other.
I wondered what giving an extra colonist to everyone would mean, but I think it's working out. Organic Potatoes has still had a lot of advantage from picking the exploration idea, and now BD will be able to get a head start too in new areas. But in a test game I ran literally the entirety of the Americas were colonized by a single country, which won't happen here. What's European history without some colonial wars, eh?

Maybe a more structured way of playing - say 50 years every working way and allowing us some input between turns - such as forging alliances etc.
It ended in a draw. You've got a small ally in Fez, but right before I the game they were being invaded by @AnotherLondonManc, so it's basically you vs him right now.
It's possible, though it would be a lot more work for the person running it.
