Should be a great night with Manchester City crushing Inter to lift their first (though almost definitely not last) Champions League trophy.

It'll also be a big win for all of English football as the Premier League TV rights are due for renewal at the end of this year, so the proof of quality will be a big selling point. Similarly, the co-efficient mechanism by which additional Champions League spots will be allocated to countries kicks in for next season, so any fifth placed English club will have a lot to thank them for as well.

Said it before but although City are obvious favourites and clearly the better team, Inter have some really good players that I don't think are getting enough credit on here. Will be interested to see how the front two for Inter occupy City's centre backs. Barella is a very decent player too in that midfield.

Hopefully the Inter players give absolutely everything and maybe a bit of good luck or dodgy refereeing sees them through.

Alarm set for an early flight over to Istanbul tomorrow. The nerves haven’t quite hit yet but they’ll build through tomorrow. I’m confident but expect Inter to prove very difficult to beat and I think it’ll be a close game.

Can't see past a comfortable Man City win by at least a two goal margin. Equalling or beating the 4 goal record winning margin in a Champions League final is possible tomorrow night.

Looking at the odds of the correct score on Man City to win

2-0 (6/1)

3-0 (9/1)

3-1 (10/1)

4-0 (16/1)

4-1 (18-1)

5-0 (45/1)

Best value odds there? if I am to sit through this match I may as well make some money off it.

Inter will do the throwback 70s Italian teams act of diving, clogging and whinging to the ref but will still be soundly beaten.
I hope.

Going by the comments you‘d think it was 115 Charges FC against Cagliari.

115 Charges are fav, but Inter can give them a game for sure.

If I could be arsed to watch it I'd put £100 on City to win.. would at least make £50 for the night given the odds.

But I'm gonna pretend football's over for the season. I think Inter genuinely have a 10% chance of winning.. no point following along for that.

You don’t need to be Cagliari or some other Serie B/Championship to be massive underdogs against them.

The biggest games 115_charges FC played recently with their best team, they dominated outrageously and scored 4 against both Madrid and Arsenal (arguably 2 teams much better than Inter). I don’t like Arsenal but they got 12 points more than Inter (84 v72) in a tougher league…

From the 8 that made the quarter finals, I think Pep would have picked Inter & Chelsea as the easiest opponents. I’d say Milan and Benfica are generally as weak but with their entire team available they would both have been tougher opponents on the counterattacks.

The probability of 115 charges FC scoring less than 3 or conceding more than 1, if any, are very very slim…

Part of me wants the cheats to win only for it to be stripped from them the next day. That would be amazing.

Think Inter have really improved recently, but City ended the season very strongly.

Sadly Pep is the best manager ever and City the best team right now and it pains me saying that.

Hopefully when Pep goes they decline a lot since I do not think the squad they have is that good.

Think Inter have around 25-30% chance to win it. Similar to us in the Fa cup, but we failed.

I think 115 is going to win it but anything can happen in a CL final. We have seen lots of upset.

But I'm afraid it's written in the star that 115 will win it because as 115 bald manager put it "the players are playing without any pressure or fear at all in this high stake challenging end of the season".

115 vs Inter game hopefully will be like Mourinho's Inter. Park the bus and play counter attack. This is the only way to play against 115. Forza Inter.

Inter need to park the aeroplane for first 15-20 mins, can’t afford to let city get that early goal.

Then they can settle into the game and go from there.

You know what? I'm tired of hearing about City's journey to this trophy and about how important it is. Let them complete the damn journey and hopefully they'll shut up!

I hope they win it so it can be taken off of them when they get done in 3 years time. Probably.

Not gonna look forward to watching this one. The minute city go 2-0 up it’s going off.

I'll probably check the score at half time to see whether it's worth watching the second half or not.

We could have beat them. We created a lot of chances in the 2nd halve against them. If they play like they did against us they’ll lose.

As the Italians say “you don’t play a final, you win it”. Hope they bring nothing but total disgrace to the game and win it in the scruffiest way ever.

115 Charges is good, but I prefer to use Mancheater City. Seems to wind them up and is accurate as well as only needing 1 letter to be changed.

Was everyone this certain of a Man City win just before they lost to Chelsea? I honestly can't remember.
No. If I remember correctly, there was cautious optimism that Chelsea would win as they had already beaten City twice a few weeks before - both in the league and the FA Cup.

Everyone worried about them completing the Treble and I'm sat here low key worrying them repeating it next season or even winning the Quadruple :nervous:
