To be fair Spoons those purchases don't materialize out of thin air. For every share acquired, someone was willing to sell at that price. Swings and roundabouts etc.

It's gone up steadily and all, Doc. It's all about sentiment and you get the feeling it's heading Qatar's way. Last few weeks it was all Ratcliffe. Power of the media eh.

Ah, didn't realise. I guess it just feels like it has dragged on forever.
As an example, one that has happened nearly in sync with United is the sale of the Ottawa Senators, the frontrunners abandoned the idea last week after months of negotiations and yesterday a new candidate appeared to save everyone but there is a small issue, he owns 10% of the Canadiens and can't purchase the Senators until he has sold his shares in Montreal, so it could last longer than anticipated.

Yeah my bad for accusing you of actually saying something negative about city. Getting you to post the c-word seemed difficult enough, but you were probably backed into a corner.
I'm unclear what point you're trying to make, because you just seem to be wildly flailing. I've said plenty of negative stuff about city, I haven't however criticised them for state ownership or oil money, just like haven't about Newcastle, or psg, and won't about us if it happens. I'm not being hypocritical, or making United a different case as you tried to claim

You guys kinda sound like gamblers in Las Vegas, "this is surely it" "it's gonna come soon" "this time it will work" :D

As a seller, I'm thinking get out now before INEOS wins and the price drops further. If I felt Qatar was going to win, I'd hold out for that sweet, sweet $38 offer.

The buyers are betting on Qatar but share purchases are a two way street, as I said, so trying to read the tea leaves there isn't the Oracle that some will have you believe.

Anyone else feel like their life is on a semi-stand still until this sale is sorted.

It's only felt like this the last few weeks but its constantly on the back of my mind.

Anxiously opening twitter 30 times a day or quickly grabbing my phone when a breaking news notification comes through.

Will be glad when this is done.

@Andy_Cole

I’ve just had a look at Twitter and nothing suggests Qatar are close - can you please shed some light on your recent post in here? Would like to know who to follow/who not to follow on this.

Thanks.

My life was going really well but then @Wumminator made me evaluate everything in my life. I felt I needed major changes upon reflection. I’ve since left the wife and kids, sold the house, sleep rough and follow Netball instead.

I'm putting the average mental age of the thread at 8. It dropped from 10.

Who do we all want then?

a) Jassim / Qatar
or
b) Sir Jim / Ineos ft. the Glazers?
Brexit Man, destroyer of Nice, please.

I find it unlikely I'll be able to stomach state-ownership, so I don't really need to like or have faith in the cnut for him to be preferable.

One thing I’ve learnt throughout this whole saga is how broken Twitter is since Musk took over! Every dude wearing blue ticks and 45 variations of Fabrizio Romano accounts.

Now I’ve got a painful habit of examining every letter of every Twitter handle.

Can’t believe Facebook are likely to be the company who saves us from Twitter.

How did you decide to support United? Did you just pick a team?

Do you look down on people who used to support United and now support City? Why? If it’s not the wrong thing to do- why would you look down on them?
I think you’ll struggle to find anyone remotely concern with supporter hierarchy and fan hood validation as yourself. We get it, you’re local, congratulations.

Can Ratcliffe buy Utd now with the new rules the Premiership have agreed to with leveraged buyouts?

Agree. Twitter is a cesspit of blue tick wankers with usernames like @MUFCRonaldoMess177786 and they always claim to have ‘inside sources’

Muppetiers are the worst though. How anyone over the age of 14 takes them seriously I will never know. And I didn’t even know about them until joining RedCafe. So I blame you lot! ;)

You have been on the booze since 8 years old, no reflection was needed.
