I actually thought we played ok on Wednesday night and I really enjoyed the game. What the hell has happened in 3 days to serve up this shower of shit?
The opposition happened. Same as after the FA Cup game against Palace, people were going overboard about the performance, completely blocking out, just how shit the opponent was.

He has been shafted by this squad but it's on him, he knew from day one that they were bunch of shitc**ts who have got numerous managers sacked, he's just become another victim by trusting them.
I don’t think he has
He fecked off sancho, but persisted with playing people like martial, and asking others to do stuff they are not comfortable doing, and wasting money on mount antony onana
He carries this burden

He has to abandon this ridiculous one man midfield or we are getting spanked in our next four matches

I got killed last year for saying he's naive but I stand by it.

Never seen a manager set teams in the PL the way he does

Man i hate this spineless bunch of players, and id love to stick by EtH, but i cannot believe there isn't a manager out there who wouldnt get more out of this team than him.
Literally anybody who puts Amrabat next to Mainoo and tries to actually control the game, instead of leaving midfield a wide open free for all and hoping the opposition miss several sitters per game.

Some of the players are cnuts as well, but sticking with this system is insanity.

Not his fault if players constantly make poor decisions. Poor pass, poor deliveries, picking wrong options all the time. On top of that, our player IQ level must be the lowest in the league. 3 yellows for dissent today says it all.
It is though. He trains them, coaches them, he puts them in the lineup and in some cases he's the one who brought them in in the first place. How the feck do you lose 0-4 at home against Bournemouth and the manager walks away with no blame whatsoever? What?!

It is his fault to start every single game without a midfield. It’s his fault we have signed so many players that are completely out of their depth. It’s his fault he falls out with players left and right.
Everyone raved about McTominay & Amrabat after mid week’s game. If they’d been left out today he’d have been criticised as well.

I keep hearing this and it doesn't hold up anymore. They've been playing the exact same way since august and despite his lies, have been following his exact instructions. The same system, and it's only gotten worse not better. It's ETH that needs to go first. Last season these players in a proper system managed to get 3rd place and a mickey mouse cup. With proper recruitment and tactics we'd be doing better. But ETH is insane, so we don't get that.

Unfortunately I can’t see him being sacked until the INEOS stake is confirmed.

He asked for control on transfers so it is his fault that after £400mil we are incapable of putting out a side that doesn’t make better decisions.

Think of where we’d be had we not spent the best part of £200 on Antony, Mount & Hojlund but addressed the midfield properly or even the attack.

It is certainly not his fault that he doesn’t have a full 11 of players who can do it all but it is majorly his responsibility that all but 1, Martinez of the men He wanted have been meh at best.

Probably done pretty much the exact opposite of what we were expecting from him when he was hired. And there's little evidence to suggest he got the ability to change it for the better. He got to go.

These players are throwing him right under the bus. I wanna see most these players leave before I see him sacked but that won’t happen. Yet another manager, rinse and repeat the cycle. Will get a nice little new manager bounce though. Yay.

I hate him soo much with his stupid playing lefties, this has resulted in not playing Varane and playing Shaw who should be used as a LB and now playing ancient Evans as a Cb.

Having a Dm who can’t head a ball and then anybody who keeps playing Mctominay as part of midfield needs to get sacked.

This just cannot go on. I know the ownership structure is in a mess but someone needs to make a decision to let go of him now. The absolute shocking level.of performance is just unacceptable.

Signing Mason Mount instead of a proper midfielder was a sackable offence on its own. Even someone like Ward-Prowse would have improved our midfield.

it's embarrassing 0-3 at home to Bournemouth, lets be honest Neto was hardly troubled - Now Everton have a better GD than us.

He needs to find a balance, otherwise he'll be sacked, and I personally don't want that to happen because I do see what he's trying to do, but feck me, we're so easy to play against.

Maybe just go back to a 4231 that he played at Ajax, with De Jong and Schone as the pivot.

Hojlund
Garnacho Bruno Antony
Mainoo Amrabat
Dalot Shaw Maguire Wan-Bissaka

Casemiro carried him in his first 6 months here, his decision making is dreadful. Has to go at this point.

Tactically pathetic. Stop overcomplicating things. Half the managers in the league are taking advantage of his tactics every week. It's not on McTominay or Rashford or Bruno or Hojlund or whoever. It's on the absolute dog shit tactics.

I put him only ahead of moyes for the worst manager post fergie, at least had we kept ragnick he would have actually built a good side and could see how he wanted to play but players knew he was short term and ronaldo lead the way in revolting against his style, ole did give us good wins over top 4 sides and good football at times with respectable seasons, can not say the same for ten hag, the football has been a real awful to watch for about 90% of his tenure and has given us some truly rubbish recruited players that are worse than what we got rid of under him

This should have been the season we push on, it's shocking how backwards we've gone in a short space of time

This is a poor take.

The players not being good enough (we all know this) can be as true, at the same time, as the manager not being good enough.

Are the players as much to blame? Of course but that doesn't mean ETH isn't above any blame. He just isn't the right person for this job. The performances, the results, the fights with his own players tell you as much.

He's lost the plot I'm afraid. You can't be picking Martial or playing Shaw as a centre back with Varane and Evans on the bench. Shite tactics, shite signings, shite football. He's so obviously a dead man walking.

From a detached, rational POV there are plenty of arguments for him remaining in the job, not least the club's problems won't vanish or dissolve whenever he goes, but ultimately emotion plays a huge part in the game and it's sort of impossible for a manager to hang on in the long-term when results like that one are anything other than a freak aberration.

I know he's set up to fail in this club as everything is rotten. But he seems so naive playing that midfield. Is soo weak and open that every team cruises around it. I know we're struggling to create chances and score goals and that may be the reason he keeps playing McTominay but a midfield of Bruno, McTominay and Amrabat is never going to work.

Amrabat sits so deep he's practically a third CB, McTominay plays high and has the least amount of touches I've seen from a midfielder, he doesn't get involved at all while we all know Bruno's style. It leaves a huge space in midfield which teams can easily exploit. It's so obvious I don't know why ten Hag doesn't see it or why he doesn't fix it.

There isn't one good reason he hasn't been sacked on multiple different occasions this season.

Useless.

Any proper club sacks him tonight before the Arsenal game kicks off.
