Should have been shown the door weeks ago, but a defeat on Sunday has to be the last straw.

He simply has to be let go of on Monday. If we have any shred of standards left at this club.

Since we ve become a club where careers go to die. Why dont we just embrace it and do an Inter or Galatasaray and get former top players in the Twilight of their career for peanuts.

I do worry for him after the Liverpool game. Now we are out of Europe, a damning defeat to Liverpool may be the final nail.

Only thing on his side is that he could argue how bad injuries have been for him, and that INEOS haven't taken over yet which means it may be that the club will want to delay things until they are in charge before making decisions like this.

So by half of December we're 6th in the league 10 points away from the top, out of League Cup and out of CL bottom of the group with no more European football.

Pretty much season over by December. We only have fighting for top 4 to look for for the rest of the season.
No reason to not clear out your dead wood, or push them out of the squad, and start building a tactical system and look like a well drilled side now that we're only going to play once a week! Right???

He's somehow built a team that's takes on the worst attributes of the managers before.

It's the same sort of hopeless/brittleness and lack of belief that we had under Moyes

The worst of LVGs boring shit on a stick football

Lack of structure or shape that that was under Ole

Somehow the worst recruitment any of them ever managed

In summary we've spent more than we've ever done, are more boring than we've ever been but at the same time more likely to get thrashed than at any point in the last 10 years. Well done. It's some achievement
All true. This team is horrendous. No strength in any area of the pitch. No hope.

His energy or the lack of it so embarrassing. Manager of Manchester United needs a bit of personality and this guy just doesn’t have any.

We just need to give ETH couple more years and hope that he becomes the next SAF.

No, we'll keep on playing hoof ball to Scott McTominay for the rest of the season hoping for the best.

He's got no charisma whatsoever. Says all the right things but has no substance. I don't even like to be judgemental in this manner but it's no wonder he can't inspire the players.

Calling it now, the narrative among his defenders will be something along the lines of "respectable 1-0 loss to one of the best teams in Europe".

I was still ETH in up until now, I just can not see any style of play, patterns of be play……anything. But what do we do, sack yet another manager and keep this same squad of frauds and cowards ?? There needs to be a complete reset starting with the Glazers out which will never happen. I’ve never in my 43 years watching and following United…..fallen asleep during a game before until now. I don’t look forward to games anymore and prefer to watch re runs of OFAH than United.

The players are shite so is the manager. I have never seen a gutless united team for a while. Cant warm to the players or the management. He is a small man in all sense of the word. He appointed a gutless captain, brought in very average players and somehow walks around as though he has an idea of what he is doing.

I don't think his position is in any real danger right now, panic firing a manager hoping for a short term boost (from whom anyway?) has to stop.

He'll be given the rest of the season and a sober assessment of his capabilities and the structure around him will be made by the new overlords.

Onve upon a time we had 4 strikers ...
We don't even have 1 now
We were not. Scared to throw a 16 year old striker ..
Now we trying to make sure we don't get hammered .

Ole was far better up until the Narcissistic Cnut came and fecked the dressing room.

A club legend and he was absolutely slaughtered by most on here as they wanted their new shiny toy. Disgraceful!

Well, you got your modern tactical genius and guess what. He's for feck all.

I’m certain we’ll have a similar thread with the next poor cnut getting binned off 18 to 24 months from now.

If he gets cleared, the whole house must go with him.

He’s not actually implemented what any of us wanted though. We’re still right.

ten Hag could be sacked tomorrow and he would still have more to show than Ole.

I don't want us to get rid of ten Hag, but the reason we're more or less out of the CL and have lost 7 in the league is because he's stubborn.

I get that we've been plagued with injuries, but top managers find a way, and he's yet to find a balance. As a result, we've either looked very vulnerable at the back or stale going forward,

Mcomminays quotes bodes terribly on the manager. If the players are behind Eth and they are this poor imagine how bad it would be if they downed tools would be relegation stuff.

And he's now straight up admitted that he can't do it, or won't do it.

So I don't really know what he's still doing here tbh. Wasting everyone's time and getting a fat paycheck I guess.

Will be gone in the summer

Early CL exit and probably a 7th place finish.

Terrible football, terrible signings, tactically fecking useless

15 goals conceded in the CL this season. More than any other English club. Yet another record set by this embarrassing team.

We were dreadful under Ole well before we signed Ronaldo.
