Good!

I can only hope they mess up his successor as badly as we've messed up post SAF

Let's see if our hierarchy has learnt anything as we will need to bear this in mind in terms of sacking ETH. We don't want them getting first run on any potential candidates we want
The best one out there will always choose Liverpool over us (Alonso).

We need to get our act together now. Don't want Arsenal filling the void if Pep goes too.

True end of an era though. They played some great football with, it has to be said, not a lot to show for it. You'd think if Pep wasnt at City they would've probably been in City's position of clearing everything up.

For me he's the best manager around, so this will be a huge loss for Liverpool.

I know he's technically tainted now but I'd still happily have him at United, he's that good.

City's Chief Football Operations Officer and Liverpool's manager... Ineos wouldn't, would they....

I actually quite like Klopp which has been conflicting with him managing them. He's going to be a huge loss for them, I hope they feck it up as badly as we have.

Ahhh finally. Best news we’ve gotten in a while. No matter who they get in they will drop off a couple levels.

Could the ducks be lining up for us at just the right time? Klopp gone, Salah probably too follow. All the uncertainty at City and the air of inevitability of Pep's numbered days. Ratcliffe from a strategy perspective will be rubbing his hands together at the timing of his acquisition, intentional or not.

Hoping Alonso (or whoever his replacement is) doesn't turn out to be some generational coach. Now if only Pep could leave this could open up nicely.

Wow

Well that’s news you don’t want coming out during a title race
Weird isn’t it? United players dropped off completely when Sir Alex announced he was retiring before changing his mind and City were literally going for the quad before announcing Pellegrinis departure who ended up skimming fourth by the skin of their teeth

I wonder who they'll replace him with? My money is on Xabi Alonso.

An ex LFC player, smashing it in Germany with Bayer Leverkusen and his team play entertaining football.

He could not handle ETH and I'm not surprised. Pep will be next, these guys just know what is coming for them and they don't want to face it.

Fully expect Xabi to take over at the end of season.
