I'm old enough to remember when we played at paceSpurs - Brighton is a lovely game. Sharp, crisp 2 touch passing, fast pace from both teams.
We haven't played at pace since 2009. grim.I'm old enough to remember when we played at pace
First shot on target for Liverpool and the keeper gifts a goal. That's really soft goalkeeping from Trafford, ran into his own defenders.
Hehecan we just skip to the part when the Burnley keeper lets a soft one in

Should have gotten a blue card!Did that cnut Maddison just sarcastically clap the ref with impunity? I'm shocked.
Feck noShould have gotten a blue card!
Second yellow for dissentDid that cnut Maddison just sarcastically clap the ref with impunity? I'm shocked.
not a chance - we might even beat them at OT!My wild prediction is this is the start of a Sheff Utd great escape.
blue card talk is pointless because refs won't be consistent with itDid that cnut Maddison just sarcastically clap the ref with impunity? I'm shocked.
Exactly. Refs can't even enforce the current rules properly. Let's not make it more complicated.blue card talk is pointless because refs won't be consistent with it
Dissent and cynical fouls should be a yellow straight away, no matter if it is the first minute or the last. Referees let far too much go. Then each time a cynical foul happen do the same. They probably think they are going to get a Messi situation where different players foul and take one for the team.blue card talk is pointless because refs won't be consistent with it
also... why should cynical fouls not be fully punished?Exactly. Refs can't even enforce the current rules properly. Let's not make it more complicated.
I guess some would argue, that 10 minutes on the sidelines is a more severe punishment than a yellow card. At least it's more instant. And under current rules you can practically make a cynical foul with impunity late in games, if you haven't already been booked. You might think twice about it, if it means your team playing the last 10 minutes with a man down.also... why should cynical fouls not be fully punished?
