Trying to get him tied up before Liverpool come calling
I mean they finished 6th and 7th only two years ago. Based on their squad and new young signings, they should not be regressing.West Ham are 9th. Where do their fans expect them to be, based on the talent in their team?
If they don't like the way Moyes plays football, then fair enough, he won't get you playing champagne football. They can do better on that front, but I don't think they have enough talent to jump into the next tier where Villa currently are.
Pushing for top 6 each season given the size of the fanbase, stadium, location etc. Moyes has done a good job but they have the resources to push on and play better football.West Ham are 9th. Where do their fans expect them to be, based on the talent in their team?

Would have him at United.Jarrod bowen is class. West Ham are where they are because of Jarrod bowen. He has a top drawer player in his team.
So would I. Would have signed Watkins and Bowen straight out of the championship but our fanbase demands names like Sancho and Antony etc. hopefully we get better with this stuff under INEOSWould have him at United.
I don't think so. After all he lacked the charisma to impose himself on the team, he had too much respect for them ("you show me how to win") to be accepted as their leader. I think no structure around him would have solved that issue. That might have softened some of the issues, but at the core he lacked the confidence to manage United. If United had properly planned for Sir Alex leaving and instead of hiring a direct replacement, they’d have also hired the Sports Director, Technical Director and split the responsibilities as they plan to now.. do you think Moyes would have stood half a chance here?
He obviously failed big time with what he had, but was also failed himself by that dreadful summer window
Even now with the campaign Bowen has had, fans will still be underwhelmed with us signing him. Says it all.So would I. Would have signed Watkins and Bowen straight out of the championship but our fanbase demands names like Sancho and Antony etc. hopefully we get better with this stuff under INEOS
There's a clear bias against British players and managers on hereEven now with the campaign Bowen has had, fans will still be underwhelmed with us signing him. Says it all.
My god no. He got rid of the succession plan and brought his Everton pals in and tried to bring in his Everton players and showed our players Everton videos to learn from. He’s his own problem. He’s not very good and his ego is massive. If United had properly planned for Sir Alex leaving and instead of hiring a direct replacement, they’d have also hired the Sports Director, Technical Director and split the responsibilities as they plan to now.. do you think Moyes would have stood half a chance here?

I agree, but who in their right mind would want Moyes back as some have said? There's a clear bias against British players and managers on here
Some guff about how we should be signing better players than themEven now with the campaign Bowen has had, fans will still be underwhelmed with us signing him. Says it all.
He has 157 PL appearances, and 73 goal contributions. Some guff about how we should be signing better players than them
Absolutely, would slot right into our RWFJarrod bowen is class. West Ham are where they are because of Jarrod bowen. He has a top drawer player in his team.
AyeHe has 157 PL appearances, and 73 goal contributions.
what we need to do is find a Brazilian winger with 12 goal contributions for the team that won arguably the most non competitive league in europe and spend 90 million on them
Harsh on Eredivisie tbh.He has 157 PL appearances, and 73 goal contributions.

Not just British. We had posters turning their noses up at Mane because he played for Southampton. "What does he know about playing for a big club" etc etc. There's a clear bias against British players and managers on here
not really. Its PSV, Ajax and Feyenoord and then the numbers are made up by pub teams. Since the year 1956, those 3 teams have won 61 of 67 available league titles. Its a pretty dogshit league. The entire country has 4 football stadiums with a capacity over 30k.Harsh on Eredivisie tbh.
I give you competitive thing, but that dogshit league has recently surprassed French league so its not exactly dogshit. Also dont know what the stadium part has to do with the whole thing. Smaller population compared to the likes of England, Spain, Germany and Italy, hence smaller stadiums.not really. Its PSV, Ajax and Feyenoord and then the numbers are made up by pub teams.
