We want a public apology!Ten Hag should apologize
We want a public apology!Ten Hag should apologize
I think he just wanted some of his own players, considering we were exclusively linked with people he knew. I don't think our scouting department exists. Either that or noone at the club knows about it.Failed under three failed managers, that is. Ole got a new manager's bump but the honeymoon was over by the time Sancho arrived. Ralf, well, the wheels had fallen off the bus and we were careening toward oblivion under his tutelage. And Erik was no match for the expectations at Old Trafford.
But let's dive in on Erik for a moment. Why the fukk did Erik shovel 70m of club money into the furnace for Antony when we had Sancho?
They will be picking up medals. May or may not be gold medals, but they'll get medals nonetheless. It would be so typical of this utterly cursed decade of shit for United if Sancho and Sabitzer pick up CL medals this season.
Exactly, some people here are making themselves look very silly, and dare I say RAWKish, allowing their bitterness to drive them to bitter name-calling when he’s in a CL and we just lost 4-0 to Palace. Reminds me of social media posts about an ex. “He was a snek anyway, just me and Ten Hag now… “It looks really petty to look for negative things to say about Sancho when Crystal Palace look like Brazil 2002 against us whilst he will be a starter in CL final.
Better to remain silent....
Maybe he just feels happier at Dortmund and more comfortable rather than a 'trying to prove people wrong'?Tweet

That's impossible. Manchester is a beautiful city where the sun always shines, everybody and everything is nice and lovely, and United as a club is the home of good vibes, everybody loving it there and just the best imaginable environment for a football player. There is no way that a player could ever feel happier somewhere else.Maybe he just feels happier at Dortmund and more comfortable rather than a 'trying to prove people wrong'?
It's obvious he never tried as hard at United as he has for Dortmund in these last two games. Absolutely zero excuses for that no matter how hard you try to spin it, especially considering that ETH let him take a months long vacation off last season for personal issues and mental health reasons, sending him to the Netherlands for personal training, as well as still trusting him for this upcoming season as he was planning to play him in a new position, at false 9. Not to mention that he's on 350k per week, one of the highest paid players in the Premier League.Maybe he just feels happier at Dortmund and more comfortable rather than a 'trying to prove people wrong'?
Dortmund's manager Terzic about him (article is from yesterday before the match):It's obvious he never tried as hard at United as he has for Dortmund in these last two games. But surely United are at fault for Sancho doing more successful take-ons in 1 CL game for Dortmund than probably in a whole season at United? Or you think this Dortmund team is stronger than last season's United side that came 3rd?
Don't forget the amazing manager with the great man-management skills. Just ask Cristiano Ronaldo. That's impossible. Hit form? Was he in form in the Bundasliga?or just hit form due to regular game time
So your explanation has nothing to do with wanting to prove people wrong? It's obvious he never tried as hard at United as he has for Dortmund in these last two games. He's played out of position by Terzic to accommodate Adeyemi (which is stupid because Adeyemi isN#t much worse on the right, IMO, but Sancho is definitely much better on the left). Sancho can still be good on the right as evidenced by his recent performances but he immediately plays much better when he switches to the left. Most of his scorers since his return happened when he was able to cut inside as well. If there's one thing you can't criticize United for, then it's playing him out of position.Exactly. Think that’s what we bought him for but never got played there. He probably would have if we didn’t have Antony. ETH was desperate for a left footed RW. Dunno what it is with the Dutch but they are obsessed with playing the correct footed people in position so like a left footed CB player LCB. We managed it alright with Vidic and Ferdinand.
You think Ronaldo was right? Or that ETH didn't handle that situation well?Don't forget the amazing manager with the great man-management skills. Just ask Cristiano Ronaldo.
United initially received €3.5m when allowing Sancho to move back to his former club in January, with a further €4m payable depending on individual and team performances.
Sancho has achieved or is expected to achieve most of his targets, allowing United to receive almost the entire €7.5m due.
He's been rubbish for them too.Nonetheless it seems that Dortmund just know better how to deal with that than United do.
Well, Dortmund are rubbish this season. But they look less rubbish since Maatsen and Sancho arrived in the winter. He's been rubbish for them too.
I was playing mate. And of course I wouldn’t abide by our club ever acting like that. Can't be done outside transfer windows
I see your point. Over the semi finals, I thought he was better than most of hos time at United, but it’s not far off. First half in Dortmund, he was erratic, lost the ball a lot and couldn’t forward play. Second half everything he did came through, and had he been a bit more incisive, he would have made a big difference in that game, but then again, it wasn’t. In Paris, he started bright, with some very good passing on turnovers, but his duel with Menses was more equal. Second half, he lost his way and little of what he tried panned out, slowing the play at times.I’ve watched him regularly with Dortmund this season and he’s been the same as he was at United. Probably a bit more smiling but his game is the same.
Difference is : at United the media will focus on everything you miss, at Dortmund the media will just see when you do something good.
He was pretty average last night, lost the ball a lot and tried fancy useless footwork at times.
This is a bizarre take, as if Sancho has an instant switch to perform. He's improved Dortmund and while his performance in the first leg was outstanding, the rest of his spell in the CL/Bundesliga has been decent to good and not much more than that.Tweet

You’ve summed it up perfectly. I didn’t bother going into details of his performances in each half against Paris but that’s how I saw it too.I see your point. His biggest improvement to me was his speed when tracking back, but I agree, the general media observers notice the delicious details now and forget the more ineffective parts when summing up his games. The opposite was true at United, even though the United fans were some if the worst in that respect.
https://www.skysports.com/amp/footb...ian-mbappe-and-psg-suffer-woodwork-misfortuneHe is so incredibly average.
Sancho isn't good enough to justify this sort of special treatment at a club like United. If you're prime Messi or Ronaldo I can tolerate it but Jadon Sancho? No way.Dortmund's manager Terzic about him (article is from yesterday before the match):
"Jadon is a special guy and requires some measures that isn't conventional. If you expect something special from Jadon on the pitch, you have to offer him something special outside of it. The art then is that the team accepts that. The challenge you have every day as a coach is to get the best out of every single player, but never lose the group while doing that. We are on a really good way with Jadon at the moment"

I guess it's clear that Sancho is a difficult character, which isn't great, no doubt. The fact that special measures were also taken by Manchester shows that they are aware of this. Nonetheless it seems that Dortmund just know better how to deal with that than United do.
He has to be at 100% fitness and effort to be effective. Some players don't.Having watched the Dortmund PSG match tonight he wasn't exactly a world beater.
He looked more determined and confident than her ever was under ETH.
Explain last week then, he would be fitter and sharper nowHe has to be at 100% fitness and effort to be effective. Some players don't.
I get that sentiment. But I honestly am not sure if United as a club is currently in a position to behave that way. There is not a single metric indicating that United currently is better than Dortmund, so why would United be above that when Dortmund isn't?Sancho isn't good enough to justify this sort of special treatment at a club like United. If you're prime Messi or Ronaldo I can tolerate it but Jadon Sancho? No way.
Reading between the lines I assume he doesn't turn up to training on time and/or train properly which is a consistent theme everywhere he's been. If Dortmund want to put up with that then so be it but I don't want that sort of character here.
Riches to Rags based on what Dortmund would pay himHe is playing under a better quality system and manager now. Rags to riches basically
Ronaldo was not only a narcissist (long-standing character-trait, which is rather more forgivable when you're scoring 50 goals a season and winning CLs) but one whose ego was writing cheques his body and form couldn't cash in the PL, ETH's system or not. Even his finishing had declined...You think Ronaldo was right? Or that ETH didn't handle that situation well?
I agree. He wanted to leave in the summer, but not one CL club was willing to take him and I presume that's partly because he wasn't willing to accept a low salary offer.Ronaldo was not only a narcissist (long-standing character-trait, which is rather more forgivable when you're scoring 50 goals a season and winning CLs) but one whose ego was writing cheques his body and form couldn't cash in the PL, ETH's system or not.
