Out of curiosity given the choice, would you pick Cunha or Mbeumo?
I think he's getting to his peak of career. I actually like Bryan Mbeumo a bit more but since we have Amad for Right 10 position already, the Left 10 position is more crucial

They're both good in general play from deeper areas I prefer cunha
Oihan Sancet is really a great alternative to Cunha and would cost similarly while probably asking for a lower salary. Xavi Simons too. Not saying we shouldn't sign Cunha but considering some red flags I would rather prefer those two.
If we can't get Cunha, I would consider Eze the next alternative.

He already plays in the Premier League, his overall game is strong, he scores and creates goals, and he operates in exactly the same role Amorim uses - a left-sided No. 10. It feels like a no-brainer, really. Sure, there are a couple of question marks around his temperament and work rate, but personally, I don’t see that as a major issue. All of our best players had that edge to them - Rooney, Ronaldo, Cantona, Bruno. They all had a bit of bite, but they also produced the moments of brilliance that win games on their own. Cunha gives me those same vibes, and I genuinely believe he could have that kind of impact at United.
Yeah, not sure who I would prefer both good players. I would think Mbeumo is also due a move this summer
We need to make sure on the work rate. I have to say when ever I have watched him play he worked hard, but can’t say I really watched games like Wolves vs Southampton. 62m is not a small amount of money. As well as Mbeumo I would also think Eze will be available too

Haven't seen Fernandes so don't know anything about him, but not impressed by Ederson. Whilst we need legs, he also needs to be a technician.
Agreed. Long for the time where we can watch actual proper passing central midfielders play for this club and not have to wait for European midweek fixtures to watch other better teams to see them.
Yeah, fair. But I’m not convinced Delap will score enough for us. Definitely an upgrade on Hojlund though.
This is why adding someone like Cunha will help, who would hopefully bag 15-20 goals.
I haven’t seen much of Fernandes either, but I’m basing my opinion on the reports that Amorim was keen on signing Quenda, which suggests may want another winger/wing back with similar qualities.
As for Ederson, I’ll admit I haven’t watched him extensively, but on the few occasions I have, he’s really impressed me. He looks like a well-rounded midfielder - exactly the type I believe Amorim wants in that No. 8 role.
I get your point about his passing, but if we look at how Amorim set up his Sporting side, the bulk of the progressive passing actually came from the centre-backs, particularly the wide ones. That’s why I think it’s crucial we have centre-backs who are not just comfortable progressing the ball through passing, but also through carries. It’s a fundamental part of how Amorim wants his teams to play.
I wouldn’t be disappointed in Delap and Cunha, but if we were able to add Gyokeres or Osimhen for an extra 30 mil instead we would be guaranteed goals from two positions.

One of them 2 strikers along with Cunha seems unreal. Unless we bring in a lot from sales. But we should definitely try and replace Rashford and Sancho with goalscorers and creativity.
I’m pretty sure Gyokeres will be our number 1 choice. The problem we have is the other teams also competing for his signature - Arsenal being the biggest issue id say.

Is everyone giving up on Bruno as the left 10, then? And if he's our new midfielder, is everyone giving up on Mainoo? I think Cunhas brilliant but I just cant figure out what we are doing with these two. Im not convinced Bruno and Ugarte is going to lead us anywhere. Sure it can work in a lot of games but over a season is this a top midfield? And right 10 is Brunos worst position even though again he can do a job there.
He seems like a massive hot head and would probably be a terrible fit for our dressing room right now.
