What's the nature AWB's back injury?

Boom boom...tish!Carried us for four games and it gave way
The weird thing is that we are so inconsistent, it wouldn't surprise me if we beat LCFC, with our 2nd string back-ups.We've dropped points against teams we should win with pretty much the full squad. I can't imagine we'll get anything from the game against a solid opposition with some of our most important players missing.
Rojo is not a wing back. Midfield with both Matic and Mata in is suicidally slow. Put Brandon Williams in place of Rojo and Fred for Matic. Can we go 3 at the back with Rojo and Young as FBs??

You're probably right there.Tomorrow we will probably play Rojo, Matic, Mata and McTomminay. Dire to say the least
The hope was the injuries weren't that serious and they'd be fit by Sat. For me anyway, the extent of the injury list wasn't worth thinking about tbhSurprised me that people weren’t aware we had all these injuries, must switch off during international week. I been dropping hints all week we were gonna be in trouble.

Might be clutching at straws but given the players available I can see us keeping it tight and nicking a win.We always perform well when wehhave our backs to the wall. It helps our players to focus better than when onus is on us to attack. Remember we have conceded points not because we were getting opened up but for simple lapse in concentration. This won't happen tomorrow. This falls right into our counter attacking style which suits us better. We will do well tomorrow and get all 3 points.
We will play like we played against Chelsea. That's our most effective style of play.Might be clutching at straws but given the players available I can see us keeping it tight and nicking a win.
Pretty grim to be parking the bus at home but watyagonnado?
I fear Woodward more than the forum, wouldn't surprise me one bit that he expects a top 4 finish with this meager squad. Ole has been dealt the weakest hand of all managers since SAF retired.Same here. But the board is full of anti-Ole threads. Its gonna be the same shit
He spent £150m. He could have reinforced the midfield instead of the defense. I recently read some comments by Vidic, from way back in MARCH, suggesting we had to prioritize reinforcing our midfield and that the defense was fine. He specifically mentioned that Maguire was a great player, but the club had to have priorities.I fear Woodward more than the forum, wouldn't surprise me one bit that he expects a top 4 finish with this meager squad. I would hope so.Anyone expecting Greenwood to start?
We can’t depend on the kids to save our season. But for a game with many injured, at least one or two deserve to be given a start. Greenwood and Gomez.Utterly disgraceful how we have had such a poor transfer window, selling quality players with no replacements that Leicester are probably favourites now. As we all knew injuries would happen & loss of form.
We have an average manager, average & thin squad. Why are our fan base just acceptant of this? As if thinking the kids will save us- they wont
Thin we'll play..Anyone expecting Greenwood to start?
Considering the exodus of players a 90M net spend is peanuts considering our last season and our ambitions. He spent £150m. He could have reinforced the midfield instead of the defense. I don't know man, back injuries are something you don't want to push a person.Pogba, Martial, Shaw will be big loss. Matic, McTominay, Mata will be too slow, hopefully it's Fred rather than Matic.
I think AWB will start.
Yes, it’s a low net spend, but our priorities should have been to fix our midfield instead of CB position. That was Vidic’s opinion, and I am in full agreement. You can’t just absolve Ole of all responsibility.Considering the exodus of players a 90M net spend is peanuts considering our last season and our ambitions.
It is a thoroughly depressing line up. Thing is, everybody could see it coming the way we left our squad. That's why I believe that, behind the scenes, we've written this season off and anything we achieve will be seen as a bonus. You can't have any expectation with our squad because every team has injuries and ours can't cope with that.I honestly hate the doom and gloom on here sometimes, but when I see a potential United starting line up for a Premier League game that looks like that, I kind of get it.
What a mess of a team that is.
Rojo at wing back! nearly spat my coffee out, that would be a sight to behold! Can we go 3 at the back with Rojo and Young as FBs??

150m barely gets you a portugese teenage striker these days. Net spend was around 80 million. Not enough considering what was required. He spent £150m.
