Tough game - They've adapted now to Wembley and have been pretty great there of late. I think it will be a close game either way but I'd probably take a draw if I was offered it right now. Probably the 2nd toughest game left on the calendar. I would have gone with Fellaini and three in midfield - Was expecting us to but Lingard getting another goal may force him into the side. I'd leave him as an option from the bench.

    De Gea

    Valencia Smalling Jones Young

    Fellaini Matic Pogba

    Alexis Lukaku Martial
1-1 is my prediction. Looking forward to this.

    Team should be...

    --------------De Gea--------------
    --Smalling---Jones---Rojo--
    Valencia--Matic--Pogba--Young
    ---Lingard---Lukaku---Sanchez---

Subs: Romero, Lindelof, Shaw, Herrera, Mata, Rashford, Martial

We seem to have the measure of Kane so hopefully that carries over.
Im expecting Martial and Sanchez out wide to push their fullbacks towards their own goal which will force their play towards the middle.
If we win I think it will be a comfortable win.

    Lads, it’s Tottenham.

A win would give us a good cushion for the top 4, but a draw wouldn’t be the end of the world.

I do feel we are beginning to move away from Tottenham in terms of player quality, and we certainly have the stronger team right now. Fantastic to be able to say that.

For the first time in a while we have a better team than Tottenham. If we play to our expected level then I have no doubts it'll be easy win for us.

Confidence will be high right now seems like there’s a good vibe and momentum in the team. If Pogba, Martial, Lingard and Sanchez perform at a high level it’s hard to see Spurs coping with that.

They’ll be on the front foot so the counter attack will be key, just like at the Emirates.

    We'll win this 3-1.

    De Gea
    Valencia Smalling Jones Young
    Lingard Matic Pogba
    Sánchez Lukaku Martial
Could be those same players, but I think probably in 4-3-3.

Even in a 433, I would prefer to see Sanchez in the position you are showing Lingard. He'll do better centrally and has the workrate and the desire to help out in the middle.

Shaw will obviously be dropped but I fear that the tree not playing tonight will mean he's going to play in this game, Dier, Dembele and Dele are big lads and Jose will fear that. I also think Sanchez will play on the left so Martial will be on the bench, I hope I'm wrong on both counts but I just have a feeling.

    We'll smash these

Sanchez to score his first goal for us, Martial to continue his scoring run and Lukaku to finish the job. 3-0.

    De Gea
    Valencia - Smalling - Jones - Young
    Matic - Pogba
    Lingard - Sanchez - Martial
    Lukaku

Wouldn’t be surprised if one of Lingard or Martial are benched for Fellaini though.

Would be a huge mistake and just hands Spurs an advantage straight away.

    De Gea
    Valencia--Smalling--Jones--Young
    Herrera--Matic--Pogba
    Sanchez--Lukaku--Martial

It's so harsh to drop Lingard but I just don't think it'll be wise going away to Spurs with 4 attackers; Sanchez, Lingard, Martial & Lukaku plus a midfield two of Pogba & Matic.

We have to go with 3 in midfield in my opinion and we know Young will be back in for Shaw.

Agreed just think it might be what we see. Wouldn’t be against Herrera coming in for Lingard and letting Pogba play further up the pitch, but not Fellaini.

As long as Pogba, Martial, Sánchez, Lingard and Lukaku play I think it’ll be difficult for Spurs regardless. Fellaini is useful but I think we’ll need quick play and counter attack in this game.

How on earth are there people not starting with arguably the most in-form player in the whole country???

Lingard has to start, and will obviously start, not to mention his great record of playing at Wembley!

Come on people, have some commonsense here!

I'm going to this game next week! Looking forward to seeing Sanchez playing with Pogba & Martial, Lingard back at Wembley. Tough game, hopefully we can come away with something.

I feel it's understandable to be fair. They're usually strong at home vs the big sides.
They are reverting to being Spursy, and they are definitely beatable if we show up with the right mentality and the players who are in good form continue in that fashion.

If Mourinho feels he has to start Herrera instead of Lingard in midfield, I can see in the attack Martial being dropped for Lingard.

If Martial was going to be on the bench vs Spurs then I don't see the point in leaving him out of the squad for tonight's game. Martial's scored during our last three league games and with Pogba being rested against Yeovil too, I think Jose was resting two of our more important attacking players specifically for this match. I do get what you're both saying about a midfield three though.

Martial will of course play, as will Lukaku, Lingard, Sanchez, and Pogba, why anyone thinks that any of them will not is a bit crazy really.

They are all bang on form and all of them are part of our best and strongest starting side, so no way will they not be playing.

Really confident of this one. I'd go for:

    De Gea
    Valencia--Smalling--Jones-Shaw
    Herrera--Matic--Pogba
    Sanchez--Lukaku--Martial
I think Jose will go for Young over Shaw though, and perhaps Lingard in for Martial with Sanchez on the right. We've got some terrific options available to us now, haven't we?

It does make sense that De Gea, Jones, Pogba and Martial being rested means they are seen as key for the Spurs game, but if he does play I'm just wondering if that would mean 4-2-3-1 with Sanchez as the #10, which is risky against Spurs away on that big Wembley pitch.

It'll be Lingard in the 10 but withdrawn like he has been the last few matches to make it more a 4-3-3

We need 3 in the middle and 3rd cant be Lingard.

Herrera on Eriksen and leave Martial & Sanchez to do the job
