Is he the best Number-9 in last 10 years? 40+ goals every season from 2011-2020
I think Suarez reached a higher peak in terms of goals and assists. He was immense in 15/16.

Lewandowski has him beat on consistency though

To think Arsenal lost out on Suarez because of a few quid ffs  that was such a ridiculous decision.

Imagine that not even being the peak of banter era Arsenal in the last decade. You would never have believed it at the time.

40+ goals in 5 consecutive seasons is amazing but he's lucky to have played for one of the 3 dominant teams in the past decade. He's very close to a fifa world player of the year isnt he.

Easy been best player in the world lately. Disgrace that he won’t get a Ballon D’or this year

Easily the best player in the world right now and probably the best striker of the past 10 years. Certainly in consistency, and probably also in peak.

Aguero too I guess. Kane for a few years.
No. The overrating of Aguero on here is insane. At no point was Aguero on the level of Lewandowski

Suarez had a significantly better peak, while losing out on longevity by a couple seasons so far. It's between the two of them though, though you can make a case for Ibra as well. Maaaaybe just maybe Kane

13 goals in 7 Champions League matches this season, directly involved in all 7 goals against Chelsea. Best player in the world this season and robbed of a Ballon d’Or.

It's a shame that there is only 1 leg in the QF and SF this year because he would have had a great chance of beating Ronaldo's record of 17 goals.

There wasn't even really a point in canceling the Ballon d'Or. It's not like the general public had a say in picking the winner, everyone involved did this as part of their job, no? So even with covid, those people will have still been able to watch the games. The leagues were finished too. Absolute shame that in one of the years where there's finally a deserving winner ahead of Messi and Ronaldo, they're like: "oh, well, we're not doing this then."

Yeah I thought the same. Would be bonkers if he made it anyway, Bayern looks like favorites to me so I can see them going all the way to the final. I admit I feel slightly sad I’m missing out on the only chance of my fellow Pole winning Ballon d’Or in my lifetime, I’m not even a fan of Lewy myself but this season he’s been unreal. Loving the fact he added so much to his game in the last few years, never in decline, always getting better.

It's 13 goals and 4 assists in 7 games. Pretty crazy

Nope, it’s 40+ from 15/16. Only 13/14 & 14/15 he didn’t pass 30

Best no9 in the last decade I would say yes, just ahead of Suárez and Aguero

Rovert Levandski. One of the best CF in the last 10 years. Up there with Ibra and van Persie.

Imo Lewandowski, Suarez , Aguero best 3 in that order. Closely behind Ibra, Benzema , Cavani , Van Persie

Suarez season 15/16 stands out though which was absolutey insane.

The thing about Aguero is the injuries his level is definitely there or even above. Sure the season Suarez ran a muck in the PL, Aguero still had a better goal per min he just was injured.

Top 5 strikers this century in my opinion along with Ronaldo, Suarez, Henry and Shevchenko, amazing striker.

Trouble with Lewandowski is that he's never quite peaked in the CL in the final stages. He's not a flat-track bully but he's only once ever made the difference in the semi-final against Real, and not since.

I'm sure he's averaged a better goal return than Suarez over the last decade, but he's obviously not had the same impact in terms of winning the competition, which is where many statistics fail.

Phenomenal season by Lewandowski. Would be a very serious contender for the Balon d'Or if they hadn't cancelled it

Regarding their standing in history peak Suarez was better. A monster in better leagues and at international level. Big game player too

Was? Yes.
Is? Suarez isn't in the top 10 strikers in the world right now.
No chance. Even if it’s debatable, it means Suarez wasn’t easily anything. I’d take sleet every day of the week, even if we exclude Suarez’s appalling professionalism/ racism/ biting.
I meant in general, not specifically now.

And yes I'd take peak Suarez anyday.

Aguero is way too highly rated on here(probably because of his excellent record vs us in the derby).

In reality, Lewa and Suarez are clearly better than him.

I'm not sure if Aguero is better than Benzema or Ibra.

The best #9 this year by a long, long way, and the best goalscoring machine in the 2010-2020 decade after Messi and Ronaldo.
