Surely we can get him done on some sort of child labour laws?

This lad can't be any older then 12.

The circle jerking over Klopp integrating a few young players in his last campaign is something, more so when we promote a youth player every season.

Because he wasn't hurt and the game was over. Trying to get someone sent off at the point was pointless.
Yes, I am against trying to get people booked or even expelled with no time left but that doesn't belong on the pitch and it seemed to be a real effort to grab Bruno pretty hard and should be a red card.

Absolutely ridiculous. He has found a new way to have them fawning over him.

Either way, he is so brave! He is on to a winner here.

Reckon they'll request being allowed into the Champions League before the end of the season.
It would still be four titles, should they win them all. I don't know about other countries, but in Germany we seem to usually call it the "small triple" if you win league, national cup and Europa League (or whatever it was before), to make clear that it isn't the big triple including the CL, which is usually called the triple. Don't see why this wouldn't work for England as well to be honest.

The semantics argument is between the use of “a” and “the”.

The Treble is EPL, UCL and FA Cup.

A treble is any of the above with one or more replaced by the League Cup or a Europa trophy.

So the same goes for The Quadruple vs a quadruple. So in fairness Klopp wasn’t wrong.

I liked their 2001 Gerrard Houllier's winning season. No PL or CL of course but enjoyed their game.

Exactly, it was not like he kept his stars on the bench and put the trust in his younger players, he just didnt have other options.
Isn't this similar to how Mainoo got played? Or Gernacho? A combination of injuries and terrible options.

I don't think that was the case with Garnacho. We had Rashford in the form of his life, Antony playing reasonably well, and Sancho available for selection but Garnacho still broke through because of his ability.

Mainoo was very clearly in the plans for the year, before getting injured in pre-season. He then got integrated gradually when returning from injury. It's not a product of circumstances, he was very much organically getting integrated to the first team at a very young age. I'd argue the same for Garnacho in fact.

Forson is more similar to the case at Liverpool.

Well they both played after injuries to other players.

Yes and no, both got their first chances for the first time when we had less to play for (not senior cup final) or if the match was already "over" and they got 5-10 minutes here and there to get a feeling about how it is playing in the PL/cups but quickly showed that they are already good enough, better then we could hope for, while Liverpool is throwing in young players just because they have so many injuries that they cant cover up all of them with players for the first team only.

Really looking forward to klopp‘s kids lighting up the theatre of dreams not once but twice this season. I’m sure fergie will have a tear in his eye as he sees the natural successors of the class of ‘92 doing their thing en route to a quadruple. It’ll be so heartwarming. I can imagine the caff feeling all warm and fuzzy with excitement.

Calling him out for it in advance of Sunday - his stubbornness and refusal to rest players for the Europa league of all cups 3 days before a title decider will see them bottle it once again. He did this multiple times with the likes of Mane, Salah and Fabinho.

City not only have an extra days rest but also rested Foden, De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva, Stones, Walker and Ake whom all started the United match. Freshness matters hugely and this probably reduces their chances of being competitive in the upcoming game by 20-30%.

You say that and it’s logical, but over the Klopp years we’ve often looked best when the games have come thick and fast, like playing every 3/4 days. Often big rests have upset our rhythm and resulted in lethargic performances. So not overly concerned about City, but we are living in the edge with the workload at the moment.

It's quite hard to take talk of an injury crisis seriously when you end up playing basically all of your key players against Sparta Prague in the Europa League.

Liverpool fans pretty giddy on Twitter about a report that Edward’s is returning and brining Alonso with him.

Apparently it’s 100% true and an absolute guarantee for all future success so the rest of us need not bother anymore.

This is the problem for Arsenal and Liverpool, they are playing against an illegally assembled squad that can rest players whenever they want. It’s a massive advantage and always makes the difference in the run in. I hope this is the last year anyone has to deal with it, and if Liverpool win it, at least we know it’s because they were the best.

Damn I hate City vs Liverpool games. Nothing good can ever come of them. Liverpool win and they’re looking hot for number 20 and City winning is getting incredibly annoying despite them being cheats. Obviously City winning is better as they’re a pathetic soulless little club but still. Fully behind Arsenal for this race.

If you have actually watched how Klopp manages you would know that injured players don’t start when they come back. They sit on the bench then come in for 20 min and then he decides to start them based on how well the looked. He has managed this crisis with the crippling injuries to our club better than anyone thought was possible. Having the players come back and brought in slowly like this is perfect timing before the biggest match of the season.

For me it's the opposite. A pathetic soulless club winning is way worse since they deserve it less.

The two best teams in Europe, duking it out for the spoils. Just the way it should be. The giant with football ’eritage versus the giant plastic plaything of the sheikhs. Bring it on.

Nobody actually believes he's leaving do they? It's all a set up for the big scouse emotional u-turn on the final day of the season.

He'll leave the pitch looking like a plasterer's radio

It’s really lovely news, we’re all chuffed. The boys are back in town, the rebuild has been all but done by kloppo with just a few tweaks here and there for Edwards to iron out and we’re all ready for xabi to put his stamp of greatness on this latest squad after he’s knocked Bayern off their perch.

Well, let me put it this way. We just stuffed Sparta at their home ground 5-1, the first team to put five past them at their ground since 1988. They just stuffed galatasaray 4-1 at the same ground a few weeks back to get to this tie. Galatasaray also stuffed some CL teams from what I recall, not so long ago. You see where I‘m going here? ;)
