Am I right in thinking that our worst ever defeats in a season was 12 and we are now on 11?

Surely at this point its about sounding out the replacements rather than waiting and seeing if some pie in the sky mircale will happen. There is no logical argument for keeping this guy past tonight. In fact, there was no logical argument for keeping him beyond December.

Nonsense. We should cut our losses the sooner rather than later. Though there have been several points across the season where sacking him would have been even more beneficial than now. We should sack him now to get our replacement either straight away or on a pre-contract before Barca, bayern etc get there first. We also should sack him now and hope for a bounce and better tactics so we can close the gap between us and Villa whilst it is mathematically possible.
We should get an interim manager in and tap up the hottest prospect in the Dutch league or something.

I do think he goes in the summer. New sporting director and new CEO are going to want their own man.
The concerning thing is, who is available? There doesn’t seem to be a stand out candidate

Now watch him say something ridiculous in the media to make it worse somehow. We have lost 11 out of 27 league games and finished bottom of a piss poor CL group but this guy will tell us that the bigger picture is looking good

Not really that fussed about the result today. At 1-0 it was a bit interesting but, the problem is we never really look like winning these games with his set up. It's not physical enough. Nobody throws their bodies about. Rashford too soft, Anthony would rather turn back instead of driving forward. Garnacho goes to ground too easy. You're not going to be able to counter if there is no physical presence up front.

Weird game to choose to criticise him for. Not sure what most people were expecting. Look at the XI that finished the match  unbelievable.
Maybe not like a bottom half club.
Ridiculous to blame him for everything. Obviously his time here is done, but surely you have to see that the club is toxic and it's been toxic for a decade. Hopefully INEOS changes that.

Bruno and Rashford need to go immediately. The very presence of these two absolutely negates any chance for us to dominate and control a game.
If Bruno and Rashford should go, why is the manager still playing them? Wouldn’t be an indictment of his management skills?

Why keep him until the season end? It ended for 3 months ago for me. Delusional manager who doesn't have a clue on what is happening, why we are losing. Get out ASAP!

Come on mate. Give him City's team and he'll still find a way to get out shot.

We brought him in to get us closer to City and Liverpool, he’s had 4 windows and he hasn’t done that. Not good enough. Onto the next one.

We set up well and seemed to have a good gameplan. His substitutions at 2-1 were unexplainable though. Surrended any chance of an equaliser by taking Garnacho and Mainoo off for Antony and Amrabat.

Surely had to be sacked now?

Would be good timing to give the next manager a few games to end of season to see which players they will keep and ship out.

Can’t believe INEOS will let ETH continue to let us deteriorate like this for another two months.

There’s more opportunity to train the team now over the last two months of the season than there will be in the summer, which will be dictated by the Euros, Copa America and our pre-season tour.

If you want to see a proper change for the beginning of next season, you need to start now.

Mourinho was ripped part for tactics like this. But somehow it’s acceptable for some folks with Ten Hag, especially not being able to string a few passes together because of injuries. These aren’t amateur footballers playing.

Did we? Or did we just get a lucky punch? We were totally under the cosh until Rashford’s goal.

Standards have been lowered, that's why.

Why did he decide that this was the game to play Kwambala?

Bench for pretty much the whole year and then comes on at 1-1 in the toughest game of the season.

We had 3 more points after 27 games in the Ole/Rangnick disaster season. And a +10 goal difference.
