Starmer repeating the utter shite about 'the national credit card being maxed out'

Don't worry, it'll turn out not to be when they need to renew Trident.
Yes I'm sure getting rid of the nuclear deterrent when Trump is looking like he might be getting in, weakening NATO, and we can see what disarming did for Ukraine is a real vote winner

In 'normal' times that might be a popular budget from the Tories but they've built up so much animosity that I don't think the usual cheap tricks will make any difference.

They know they'll be out of office soon, so it's all bollocks. Just the 14 years in power and suddenly they end non-dom status? feck off.

Out of all the despicable people in British politics, only Galloway is calling a spade a spade. Regardless of his motivation for doing so and his past. If any other despicable MP did the same (and kept his/her job) we wouldn't have to take this guy's side. But each and every one of them is quiet, or worse.

It's pretty damning of our political class that we've effectively gone from Russian oligarch money in BoJo's cabinet to now Israeli blood money in Sunak and Stamer's parties. I'm fully behind figures such as GG holding up a mirror to these spineless and corrupt cnuts.

So it isn't maxed out then.
Tridents updated technology from the US is paid for on a long, long term mortgage, if it helps us survive a nuclear attack we pay up, if not.... oops! Even Trump might spot the problem here though!!!

Looking for the answers...
Means test child benefits on household income ffs you bunch of cnuts. fecking infuriating that two working parents slightly under the threshold get far more than a household with one working parent earning above it, whilst household income is lower than the two working parent scenario.

Is that the takeaway from today's budget news?

Have you not met @Dobba ? Absolute raging right wing Tory that’s pledge to vote Reform this coming election. When Laurence Fox starts moaning about Billie taking his weans, Dobba owns the first shoulder Fox is allowed to cry on.

The feck you on about? I'm a socialist who'd walk infront of a moving train before voting Tory (Red or Blue) or Reform you lying cnut.

The Tories are dead and buried, the only takeaway from today's budget is that austerity is here to stay before and after the next GE.

Yeah, all anyone is talking about is the Labour party social media content right now.

David Cameron was asked for his greatest achievement. He replied Rachel Reeves.
It’s even worse though, when you think about it. As bad as Cameron was in terms of austerity and his gamble on the EU referendum, he was still very socially liberal for a Tory. I honestly can’t see Starmer doing anything as progressive as gay marriage, because he’s terrified of how it will play in the ‘red wall’.

That was the Lib Dem influence, and it was/is where the UK is at socially so amending the legislation to reflect that is an easy thing to do.

Tbf Cameron could only do that because he got help from Labour votes in parliament. But yeah Wes Streeting have already talked about segregating healthcare for trans people so can’t expect any social liberal policy.

Centre “left”/liberals tend to try to prove themselves as loyal subjects to the British ruling class. Which could result in a Starmer led Labour government pushing for policies further to the right than any Tories government.

That video is just depressing. It's literally the Tory mantra regurgitated.

Labour 2024 are further right than Cameron’s 2010 Tories. Show me a shred of evidence otherwise.

Yeah but they're not called the Conservative Party and that's really all that matters.
Tories without the cronyism seems to be the campaign message and they will change if they get into power. I absolutely believe they will too. I’ve seen the donations that they’ve be accepting from big oil and the gambling industry and the water companies so what’s different about Labour that means they will resist the cronyism?
