We shouldn’t wait any longer. We might need the new manager bounce just to sneak into the Europa League. He can’t be extended at this point and we can’t let him ruin next season as a lame duck. He’s had chance after chance and he just keeps getting worse.

Sir Jim was in the stands today. Hopefully he’s made up his mind. Cause ETH has zero redeeming qualities at this point. Our football is so chaotic with zero control.

I feel bad for Ten Hag. He's a better manager than the players are showing. These players are the problem. Not the manager.
I is way over his head. This players are not world class but you can't convince me these players are so bad that they consistently concede 20+ shots every single game.

Subs handed over the game to Chelsea.

Garnacho was keeping them pinned back.

I mean we concede 30 shots a game and play everything vertical. "Keeping the ball" isn't in our vocabulary
It also happens no matter the players selected, so people don't have the easy excuse just to blame it on the players they dislike, it is a systematic structural failure.

Had work, switched it on only for stoppage time. The attack after 3-3 was insane, Chelsea got a 5 v 2 counter from it that they messed up into a corner (from which they scored).
It really seems this team only knows how to flood forward and then flood backward. I know it's last minute and that can make it different, but they've done this throughout matches as well, always leaving the midfield empty and defense exposed - at least leave 3-4 players back when the match is tied!
We can't even do that correctly. When we go forward, the attack and midfield pushes and the defence stays deep, making our middle so open that any turnover results in an attempt goal. There is not a single team in the world that plays like this, it is mind-bogglingly dumb.

If he had an iota of the high standards that he talks about so much, he'd resign in shame at the level of shite he's trying to implement.

It doesn’t matter what camp you’re in now. I believe the decision has been made now.
Yes and it will be to keep him for another year and allow him more time to build his squad. The guy can talk the talk and he will pull himself out of trouble here.

I think he's done. I want it to work with him but we're giving teams at least 20 shots a game. 2 consecutive seasons where at the 30 game point we're on minus goal difference. It's actually a joke.

This club needs a complete reset. We need a season with no European football whatsoever, no CL, no Europa, no Conference league. We need rid of Rashford, Casemiro, Varane and need to build from scratch, no more papering over the cracks.

Really?

Like really? Feck off.

Dont gloat when United have lost like that? Jesus Christ. Imagine that being your first thoughts.
Impressive how you’re taking the sanctimonious route instead of admitting how insanely wrong you’ve been for the past however many months

Exactly that. This result has no impact on his overall assessment as a manager, just as a 3-2 would not have. We are so chaotic things like this are bound to happen both ways.
Exactly. Just as this doesn't reflect much on Pochetino. Chelsea were terrible in added on time.

ETH has to take the blame too. He seemed to instruct the players (bruno, mount) to keep the ball and run down the time when we have freaking 8 mins extra time. Moreover we are one of the worst in the league for keeping possession.
We just invited Chelsea to keep attacking us and happen to have a Dalot brain dead situation to throw the game away.
Nice ETH.
SJR is on the stands and hope he finally understand this guy will not be the man to take us further. Time to cut loose. UCL spot is impossible now. Get a proper manager and start rebuilding. There is nothing much to play for the season even if we manage to win the Fa cup.

He even clearly said to the players “keep the ball”
Yeh, I mean I have no doubt EtH needs to go, but nothing changes until 95% of these players are out. So I ain't wasting my energy calling EtH anymore until I see a ruthless summer, I just don't want to see these players anymore.

Honestly watching that game Chelsea are a spitting image of us really just with less quality in their foward line. Both teams hilariously open midfields playing that dogshite 3-1-6 pressing formation
True. I'd swap Bruno for Palmer but otherwise we have far better forwards.

I actually thought we were managing the last 20 minutes quite well until that bloody penalty as well, but this team and this football is still absolutely ridiculous.

Will be more relieved at the news of this sacking than I was when Moyes got shown the door.

My my my so quick to give it out but you can't take it.
Why on earth would you want to make a fellow United fan feel worse after that loss?

I give out when we’re winning so there’s at least some enjoyment to be had. Never when we’re losing.

What you’re doing is just being a dick. It was a dickish post to make.

There is no process. Sack him at the end of the season. We need a fresh start.

Why is he swapping Dalot and AWB's position every week when there's no need to. At least try to keep one thing consistent about our shamble defense for feck sake.

That game told me that neither of our two choices to be manager were good enough. Terrible from both teams.

A good team finds a way to win that 3-2.
A good team probably doesn't concede 2 goals against that terrible Chelsea side. Though United did lack some good fortune especially on Dalot's penalty.
