Delivered today. Kind of. Not convincing me he deserves another season. Simple as.
Genuinely makes me sad that this could be construed as having “delivered”. It was shambolic yet again :(

Looking for Eric
Ridiculous way to play football, great for the neutrals but we will never win anything playing this way. In game management is a joke, how many times have we given up a lead by taking off attackers and inviting pressure.

I'm still trying to think of a defence for the sub, I don't have one yet but I think there was a logic behind it (albeit flawed). I personally would have got someone like McT on who is a threat going forward and also provides some defensive solidity in the air for Kobbie instead.

I have to say, that was an extremely worrying performance. How we've gotten to the stage where we are giving up 20+ chances every single game is just crazy.

He wasn't on the bench, knee injury from midweek I would guess.

That Garnacho sub might be one of his stupidest subs all season, and that's saying something, completely killed our counter attacking threat.
I agree but have to be very careful not to burn the lad out he's played every game for about 28/30. He'll be the next to get a muscle injury no doubt.

Look at the amount of defending and running Maguire had to do today, its no wonder our defenders are constantly getting injured.
Yeah there definitley has to be reason/s behind all out defenders turning to glass this season. Been rumours all season that players think his training is too heavy on running.

The gulf in quality until Quansah played a loose ball to Fernandes was so stark it was really quite grim. The fact that we then just sort of accepted the reality that we're not any good and terribly and embraced the chaos was at least something on a short-term basis, I still think for the most part the players are trying but the set up is a mess and they're all either past it, second rate or young players that still have a lot of developing to do. The issue is every indication is that he falls into the category of being second rate himself.

It's incredibly difficult to justify why he shouldn't be sacked in the summer given how bad we are but given that the new structure won't properly in place for this summer I wouldn't be surprised if interest in the job is minimal and he's kept as a placeholder for a year while the people above him come in to the club.

How the hell, he wasn't destroyed by Klopp in last two consecutive matches is another x-files episode.

This season, seriously...

Looked back at the 0-0 in December, when ETH career was teetering and it bought him time.

Still conceded 34 shots then. So Liverpool have had 62 shots on our goal in the league and somehow only scored once from open play, even then only from a corner. How many miracles is that?

Funny how we can be so incredibly clinical at times.

We should have been dead and buried at half time. I think Brunos freak goal was the catalyst rather then the manager

The number of shots conceded every game, the way we get dominated at home… it’s just staggering. I don’t don’t think we’ve seen something like this in the club’s recent history.

You've been doing nothing but whinging with the other ETH out 'cultists' for the last 90 mins
When weighing up the evidence available to us - if there’s a cult it certainly isn’t the people that want Ten Hag out

I just can't trust a manager who sets up his midfield like that game in and game out and plays such a purposefully chaotic game. There is nothing sustainable in anything Utd do, so much of his plan seems to be hoping the opposition miss or mess up overloads and that Utd don't.

Glasgow resident these days.
That was a typical United performance this season. We score from individual brilliance rather than carving a team apart and pretty much got battered again - at home by Liverpool.
He's the luckiest manager going and he will undoubtably talk about process and style of play, but if anyone on here....anyone, can point me in the direction of this process or style of play then please do pipe up.
He's so incompetent to be managing at this level it's beyond painful. I think he'd struggle to get top 4 with the City squad this season.

Hate how negative he is.

What about us makes him think we can actually hang on to a 1 goal lead against a half decent team?

What are the positives to take out of the last three games? 7 points dropped from winning positions in the last 10 minutes, so we could be looking at a very different position in the table. Some of that EtH isn't to blame, but how he structures us will never not be bizzare to me.

We are scoring goals again, but it seems like to do one thing well, we must sacrifice another part of our game.

I actually get Biesla vibes when I watch us, with the man to man set up and helter-skelter football. You need to have truly elite players in key positions to make this set up work.

Last time we got a result vs Liverpool we get humiliated away to Brentford.

Next up, Bournemouth away. *Grimaces*

Each game just comes down to how many chances the opposition can actually score from against us. So Bournemouth could easily score a few I expect.

Somehow today salah was skewing everything high and wide and how Diaz put that knock down over the bar from ten yards I don’t know

It’s like the team is controlled by some D&D style dice rolling - 6 you get a strike at goal! 2 you completely hash that up and give it away to your opponent who is now on a break.
