Posters still defending ETH, I hope you are getting commission. You are worse than the Bundesliga lot.
Chelsea are still massively underperforming their xg. Also conceding way more goals than they should be statistically. Really strange their performance vs results.Didn’t he actually get Chelsea playing some pretty good football? They just couldn’t put the ball in the net and were underperforming their XG quite significantly? Might need a Chelsea fan to confirm this. Not saying we should hire him, mind.
A genuine concern if we stick with a large amount of this squad, many have survived one too many managers. Wouldn't trust them at all with a manager like Potter.I think Potter's a pretty good manager tactically tbh, but I would worry that he might face the same issues he had at Chelsea with the players undermining him and calling him Harry Potter and that bollocks. If he'd be prepared to accept an interim role until the end of the season I'd be open to it tbh. Can then assess at end of season. Unlikely that would happen though.
FMLI've no problem getting Potter in, anything but Ten Hag at this stage but people saying he was dealt with a shitshow as if we're some well run club. We're just as big as a shitshow as Chelsea
Well to be fair it's not important to him.So according to Ten Hag the very real prospect of our worst ever premiership season in history isn't important
Just today?Today‘s game, it’s obvious that the spirit and togetherness of the team are done and gone.
The players didn’t give up and still fought. But they did so as eleven individuals. This system has taken out everyone‘a soul.
We haven't, it's a much changed squad from even 2 years ago never mind 6 years ago when Jose got sacked. He must feel like banging his head against the dugout. There’s no way what he’s telling them to do is what we’re seeing on the pitch. But at the end of the day, it’s his job to somehow get them to perform. I do have sympathy - we’ve seen this squad do this to several managers at this point. But that doesn’t mean he shouldn’t take blame. We’re just a broken club.
Wow!I won't lie the results in itself do not look good but I refuse to get dragged along with the eric out campaign. We had a goal against because 2 18 y old made mistakes, one of them just fell unlucky. Casemiro was bad. Bournemouth is a good team. ETH even admitted that our penalty was debatable. But again we pulled out a draw, away. We have quite some good players to come back in the next weeks (martinez, shaw with a bit of luck, Evans, Lindeloff) when we have some big games coming up.
I always said I am ETH out if he gets to 3 run losses, with bad game tactics minute 1 till 90 and 3 or more goal difference beatings. As one poster said: perhaps Newcastle is ready to hand us our back bum. But if you don't believe the opposite, then why are you here anyway, is my view. I stand by this team. Can we do it, I don't know. I tell you this: today, even with the few good shots against Onana (who played a very good game) I never had the feeling we would lose. We just severly lacked in attack. I counted maybe 5 or 6 well executed attacks. Our wingers and forwards made too many errors. Hojlund worked very hard. That mess up by Rashford in the 70th minute was very bad and he knew it, that's why he chased back all the way to rb. It's also testament how good Bournemouth pressed and they played at home.
Also, under Jose, LvG, these games would end 0 - 0. You would have all the nice low shot stats, the high controll stats but no goals. Anyway, see it as you fit. I know the place will be crawling with ETH out posters and good for them. I'm not one of them. Yet.
Yup. Players are not robots, they are being told to do something that is not working, they can only do it for so long before calling out the ineptitude. It's a different squad with a few exceptions, but it doesn't mean the core is necessarily rotten. We haven't, it's a much changed squad from even 2 years ago never mind 6 years ago when Jose got sacked.
But when you assess his post-match comments it's almost nonsensical to assume the players are acting of their own accord. We are seeing the same patterns, shapes and dysfunction in every game irrespective of opposition. What we have witnessed some of the players do in the past was give up, run at 10% effort and show no competitive nature in anything. That is a distant reality to what's taking place, we are witnessing a tactical capitulation, better yet, a demolition where the manager has accountability in not being able to do the basics with how he sets this team up.He must feel like banging his head against the dugout. There’s no way what he’s telling them to do is what we’re seeing on the pitch. But at the end of the day, it’s his job to somehow get them to perform. I was referring more to Ole and Ragnick than Jose.We haven't, it's a much changed squad from even 2 years ago never mind 6 years ago when Jose got sacked.
wow. We need another 9 points and no more defeats to not break/ equal records on lowest points and most defeats as well.Tweet

I hadn’t seen the footage until this, but to be fair to him he’s already leaving before the question is asked.Tweet

We've seen this movie before with David Moyes. Deer in the headlights.I think Potter's a pretty good manager tactically tbh, but I would worry that he might face the same issues he had at Chelsea with the players undermining him and calling him Harry Potter and that bollocks. If he'd be prepared to accept an interim role until the end of the season I'd be open to it tbh. Can then assess at end of season. Unlikely that would happen though.

Why do people say this?A genuine concern if we stick with a large amount of this squad, many have survived one too many managers. Wouldn't trust them at all with a manager like Potter.
It's still too many given how unreliable they all are.Why do people say this?
The only players “surviving” multiple managers are McTominay, Shaw, Dalot, Rashford, Lindelöf, Martial (100% gone this summer).
Once Martial leaves this Summer we’re down to just 5 players in the entire squad that have played for more than two managers, of which, only 3 are considered starters when fit.
ETH has been given chance to build an entire new team, whoever is manager next season will likely have just 3-4 players in the entire squad that have lasted through Ole-ETH. The problem with ETH aside from his lunatic tactics is that he’s barely able to play any of the lads he’s brought in, else he inexplicably decides not to play them (Mount, Antony) even when the team has been playing like utter shite for months.
But there’s a very good chance it’ll be like 3 players after this Summer. We’ve completely changed squad, this isn’t a squad that keeps letting managers down, this really is ETH’s squad that’s failing him. It's still too many given how unreliable they all are.
Especially a fair chunk of the ones he brought with him tbfSo, so many of these players need to follow ETH out the door.
Well he’d run out of people to blame at that point so he was bailing on the whole thingI hadn’t seen the footage until this, but to be fair to him he’s already leaving before the question is asked.
And they will, but they’re no where near as bad as he’s got them playing with his tacticsSo, so many of these players need to follow ETH out the door.
Overall I totally agree, but I can't help be sick of seeing us rely on a few players who have let us down, been unreliable season after season. For example, going into another season trusting Shaw, it's just so exhausting at this point. But there’s a very good chance it’ll be like 3 players after this Summer. They simply can't be. Because the level we're seeing is unbelievably low.And they will, but they’re no where near as bad as he’s got them playing with his tactics
Yup, I’d 100% buy a replacement for Shaw this Summer even if Shaw stays. Absolutely cannot be trusted.Overall I totally agree, but I can't help be sick of seeing us rely on a few players who have let us down, been unreliable season after season. We normally agree but I’m watching the last couple of months and I don’t know how any player can flourish in this. So, so many of these players need to follow ETH out the door.
I don't care about Garnacho, he has no right to retweet that nonsense and this is coming from someone that wants ETH gone like yesterday.Great, now it's gonna be Ten Hag vs Garnacho.
We better choose Garnacho.
After watching another mess on the pitch today, mediocrity is little flattering!Yeah, LVG was held to higher standards. We accept mediocrity now.
This is a unique perspective.I don't care about Garnacho, he has no right to retweet that nonsense and this is coming from someone that wants ETH gone like yesterday.
I don't see the talent with Garnacho, I would not be bothered if he is gone to be honest
Isn't Bruno, Maguire, AWB also in this list. 2 are already 5 years here. Why do people say this?
